After your wedding ceremony, your guests are invited to wander through the beautiful gardens and relax on the terrace, whilst you make the most of the fantastic photographic opportunities afforded by our stunning grounds and historic architecture.
At Hooton Pagnell Hall, your wedding is so much more than a single day. Our beautiful on-site Stable Arches accommodation allows you and your guests to relax, unwind and make the most of every moment together. With nine luxurious bedrooms available,, together with the option of a tenth bedroom for the newlyweds on the night of the wedding, you are free to reserve as many or as few rooms as you wish. Many couples choose to extend the celebrations by gathering with their nearest and dearest the evening before, creating precious memories long before the first toast is raised.
Located on a Private Estate in a picture-perfect village of stone cottages, Hooton Pagnell Hall is 8 miles from Doncaster, 30 miles from Leeds, 22 miles from Sheffield, and classic York is only a short journey away. Doncaster train station is also just a 20-minute drive away, meaning great links to London, amongst other cities.

At Hooton Pagnell Hall, we believe that no two weddings should be the same. That's why our weddings are designed on a bespoke basis, allowing you to create a celebration that perfectly reflects your vision.
Every wedding is completely exclusive, ensuring that the Hall and grounds are yours to enjoy with family and friends. Our pricing varies according to your chosen season and date, with peak weekends and summer months reflecting higher demand, whilst mid-week dates (Monday to Thursday) and low season celebrations offer exceptional value.
At the heart of every wedding is our beautifully restored Tithe Barn, where your wedding breakfast and evening reception will take place. From there, you have the freedom to personalise your day with a choice of ceremony spaces, drinks reception locations and accommodation options, creating a wedding experience that is entirely your own.
Included within your venue hire are our stunning lawns and summer gardens, Bridal Preparation Rooms, tables, chairs for indoor use, glassware, event management, staffing and security.
Food and beverages are arranged separately and we are proud to work alongside a carefully selected collection of talented Yorkshire caterers. Following your viewing, we will introduce you to each catering team so that you can explore menus and discuss your plans directly with them.

Our whole day just went amazingly and was the most beautiful day. People still talk about our day 7 months later. The Venue is just out of this world , pure fairytale. We will never be over our day and will forever be grateful for the whole team at Hooton Pagnell Hall. We had the most magical amazing wedding day at Hooton Pagnell Hall , from our first visit viewing this place to the big day , the whole team were just incredible. Our whole day just went amazingly and was the most beautiful day. People still talk about our day 7 months later. The Venue is just out of this world , pure fairytale. The venue is beautiful, had everything we were looking for and even allowed our dog to be there. In the run up to our wedding the co-ordinator gained our trust and belief that she had our best interests at heart. She was thorough and friendly throughout, and therefore as a whole, the venue was not on my radar for any potential issues. However, on the morning of my wedding a catastrophe occurred. In an area where the groom was to be greeting guests in a matter of hours, a statue fell on my 6 yr old nephew, breaking his leg in 2 places. There was no signage warning of the dangers in the area, no ropes restricting the structures, no CCTV and for a venue that allows guests of any age or size (and dogs too) this was an accident waiting to happen. Had a drunk guest bumped the statue, had a dog toileted in that area or jumped at it, had an elderly guest leant on it to have a picture taken...the statue would've fallen. This is due to the negligent upkeep from HPH by not effectively repairing evidently worn and weak areas. I really fear that in any of those scenarios they would've been met with more respect and empathy than my nephew got from the establishment overall. As we were getting in the car to catch a flight the groom was independently pulled aside and told that we'd have to pay for it (coincidentally our full deposit - but no stonemason receipts were provided nor offered). Sparking the question of why he was singled out instead of us being told collectively and when not under time constraints. A member of the kitchen staff was inexplicably cruel and belligerent to the mother over breakfast also, the same person who repeatedly shouted how it was a '150 yr old statue' while my nephew was screaming in pain. For a venue that runs 2 weddings a week for thousands of pounds a time and one that is owned by a family with children, we'd have thought a little ownership and empathy would've been shown by all. Instead, they were difficult to contact afterwards, their replies few and far between and their emails dismissive. It was and is to this day, an appalling response on their part, one that completely tarnished our day. Over a year on, I still look back on my wedding day with so much hurt, completely worsened by HPH's dealing with it. Therefore, a 1 star awarded as our experience shows that despite the positives and beauty of the venue, it features inadequately maintained structures and some shaming, belligerent staff. This venue's unfortunate yet evident monetary greed outweighs the care for their guests and specifically, young children. All things I never knew I even needed to consider when booking a wedding venue. Should you decide to book with them, please stay well clear of all the statues.I got married at HPH in May 2024. The summer house where the wedding took place gorgeous. The barn where the wedding was held beautiful and the food was out of this world! The grounds are stunning, and shooting here in Autumn was no different with all the incredible autumnal colours. The team at Hooton are amazing at bringing everything together and supporting you through the whole journey from your first look around to the day itself. We booked the Hall for the full weekend and it was just magnificent, there are so many different spaces you can use whether you have 10 or 100 guests and this worked perfectly for us.We got married here in October and it was the most perfect day. Firstly, the staff are an absolute dream at Hooton Pagnell Hall and complement the entire venue. Although the venue speaks for itself with how beautiful and unique it is, the staff were the icing on the cake for us. To find your perfect venue and the staff to go with it is just more than we could have asked for. Is your venue exclusive hire?
Yes, it is. Only you and your guests will be staying with us during your wedding celebration.
Can we get legally married at your venue?
Yes, we are proud to offer a number of licensed ceremony spaces and we also have All Saints Church available within our grounds.
Can we get married outside?
Yes, you can. However, outdoor chairs would need to be hired. We can arrange this for you with our supplier.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
We have ramps for both the Summer House and Tithe Barn. We have a small step into the Main Hall but staff will assist with entry if necessary.
Are pets allowed?
Dogs are permitted into the Summer House for your ceremony and for your photographs afterwards, but they must be kept on a lead at all times. Before the wedding breakfast, they will need to leave the site.
What time can we access the venue the day before to set-up?
Between 12pm and 5pm and check-in to rooms is from 3pm. For Twilight weddings, access is from 8am on the day of your wedding.
What time does the bar open and close?
The bar will open straight after the ceremony. Last orders are at 11.15pm and our bar closes at 11:30as per our license.
Do we have to use your suggested suppliers?
No – you're welcome to use your own suppliers. However, we do require you to choose from our approved catering partners, who know our venue and work closely with our team to ensure a seamless dining experience. Our recommended suppliers are also familiar with Hooton Pagnell Hall and know how to make the most of our spaces.
Who supplies crockery, cutlery, glassware and linen?
Crockery , cutlery and linen is supplied by your catering team and you’ll need to discuss your requirements with them. Our bar team will organise glassware based on your beverage requirements.
How long can I provisionally hold a date for?
We can hold a date for you for two weeks with no obligation to book and with no charge. If, after two weeks, you haven’t booked with us, we will release your date.
