The Club Suite can accommodate up to 180 people for a wedding reception and opens out onto a courtyard which is ideal for a drinks reception in the Summer months. The hotel can hold civil ceremonies which allows you to organise your ‘special day’ from start to finish at the same venue. We can also offer special accommodation rates for guests who wish to stay overnight.

Best choice of wedding venue
I cannot recommend Holiday Inn enough!
We are very happy with our choice of venue for multiple reasons: we didn't have to move from one venue to another for the registrar and then the party, no issues with the parking for us and our guests as well and also extremely convenient for guests travelling from different parts on the country, as they could book a hotel room at a discounted rate.
May I add that the breakfast there and the facilities are really good as well!
Very important is also the fact that we had the support we needed in terms of planning all the details, Lara and Justina have gone above and beyond in accomodating everything for us: they are very professional, kind and approachable!
Holiday Inn has also become our favourite place for going out for a coffee because of the friendly atmosphere and it's also quiet and just really pleasant overall!

Wonderful staff, amazing venue
I was wedding planner for my parent's wedding and liaised with Lara throughout.
The wedding went like clockwork and communication and service from Lara and the rest of the team was second to none.
This was not the first event we had held at The Holiday Inn, but it was by far the most important, and the attitude and professionalism of all the staff reflected that.
From orders of tea for the MoB to a sit down meal for the wedding party the day after, the whole weekend was a joy and it was certainly unforgettable.

Our number one wedding planning tip for couples is to make a plan and a to-do list. It's important to break down the tasks into manageable chunks and prioritise them. Writing down what needs to be done will help you stay organised and ensure that nothing gets overlooked. Not only that, but it will also provide a sense of accomplishment as you are able to tick off completed items!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Our favorite personal touch I've seen at a wedding was a memory table. The table was decorated with photos of the couple throughout the years, from when they were kids to their engagement photos. It was a really special and meaningful way to honor the couple's history and gave the guests a chance to see how their love has grown over the years.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our garden area is definitely the best spot to take photos here. The natural light is stunning, and the scenery is beautiful! It's a great place to capture some amazing memories.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We had diversity staying in the hotel and using our studio!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our favorite canapé has to be the Smoked Salmon and Beetroot Bites. They are so delicious and the combination of flavors is amazing, it's an elegant yet simple canapé that would be great for a wedding.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Our favorite midnight treat is definitely the bacon rolls! They're so delicious and savory and they make the perfect snack.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our venue's most unique feature is definitely the beautiful skylight fixture in our open lobby. The skylight fixture provide a soft, natural light that illuminates the lobby and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. We are proud to offer this feature to our guests and it is just one of the many reasons why our venue is so special.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I'm extremely proud of the staff here at Holiday Inn Guildford. They always go above and beyond to make sure our couples have a great experience. Our staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our customers have a positive experience. They truly make our business stand out and I'm so proud of the amazing work they do every day.
