Highfield park, what a stunning location. We had exclusive use for our Disney themed wedding. Its location is ideal, private and you feel in a completely separate world. One of the main highlights for us, was the exceptional standard of service from ALL staff. From booking with Laura, to the reception team, the kitchen team, and Rebecca the lead of weddings. The experience within this team is vast and wide, they really know their stuff and will sort any issue should any arise. Rebecca consistently went above and beyond for Isaac and I. And was there in times of crisis when I thought everything was falling apart. She was present consistently on our wedding day and managing the team to a high standard. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly and engaging, I’m sorry I didn’t note down all the names. But a huge shout out especially to the lady that was there for our food tasting, who managed the bar, and then also was there to help serve breakfast. They have a small team who cover every angle and the friendliness was not expected. We opted for an outdoor ceremony in their new pavilion. And everything was done in the background without me having to think about anything. We also had the sit down meal as part of our timeless package. And a pizza oven with pick your own toppings in the evening! (Highly recommend! The guests loved this!) A bouncy castle, please note: check with your supplier if they need power as this is that issue I referred to earlier that Rebecca kindly helped me solve. And fireworks by Star Fireworks. Which were PHENOMENAL! Overall, you are in good hands with the team here for a truly memorable day. My only negative, was the DJ being late which delayed our first dance by 1 hour, and guests left by 10pm, so we didn’t get much time to dance together. He did stay an extra 30 mins but by this time everyone had left. I won’t let it affect this review though because it was out of everyone’s hands. Thank you millions for such an exceptional memory. Highfield park was the perfect setting for our outdoor ceremony and evening bbq disco. Zoe and Laura expertly guided us through the stages leading up to the day and understood exactly what we were looking for . We are very grateful for the friendly support throughout the hole experience. It was a fabulous day that we will never forget.. Jo & Paul Douglas

I have mixed reviews about Highfield. I planned an international wedding at Highfield. I am very grateful for the amount of effort Highfield staff put into planning and organizing our wedding. When we arrived I was very happy with our choice to wed there - scenery was beautiful, accommodations were clean, food was delicious and everything went smoothly on the wedding day. To help me plan and direct my wedding day I had the pleasure of working with Zoe, Joanne and Laura - all extremely kind, accommodating and welcoming individuals. I can say the exact same for housekeeping, kitchen and bar staff. I would recommend this location to anyone; however, I did have some concerns. It is unfortunate that their wedding manager, Rebecca, is incapable of showing compassion, accommodating to requests, or taking accountability for her own words and actions. I would explain using a few scenarios as examples, however, that might take too long. She was my main stressor throughout all my wedding planning - in almost every interaction with her she was condescending. I especially didn’t appreciate her badgering us for being 1 pound short on the final invoice when they declined my request to be reimbursed for 4 individuals who had to cancel for medical reasons - that's 440 pounds, almost $800CAD. Either I’m awful at comprehending or the contract is ambiguous. Rebecca did not “take reasonable endeavours to accommodate” us in this situation. Nor did she let us refrigerate our cake which was already ordered.. and due to the logistics of that, it never arrived and we were out that experience and money... anyways, those are just two examples out of many. My rating is lacking 5 stars due to Rebecca and some other financial headaches we received during and after our stay at Highfield. This is not a complaint for the wedding team, but just for the venue itself. Ask for an itemized invoice at check-out of all tabs, accommodation, bills, etc. Every single one of my family members, including myself, as well as a few of my friends, had random charges added to our bills at check-out. For example, I was charged for my bridal suite when I shouldn’t have been. I feel bad about listing my complaints because the staff and beautiful venue deserve more than that for their kindness and professionalism. It’s just a shame that Rebecca was there to belittle my father and I on multiple occasions, when we’re paying thousands of dollars to be there. It’s also a shame her and whoever makes the final billing decisions at check-out are penny pinching. Good thing we never met Rebecca in person, and only had to deal with the charges at the end; they did not ruin the lived-in experience at Highfield.

We first visited Highfield pre-covid, in February 2020. We always knew it was the front runner for our wedding venue… it ticked our biggest box of having enough accommodation for everyone to stay over! Aside from that consideration, it is a beautiful venue in gorgeous surroundings, with great rooms for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and a good bar with plenty of seating areas. We eventually set a date for March 2023, 2 years later than originally planned. From this moment on, Jo was our main contact. She was very patient, dealing with multiple questions from us, sometimes the same question several times. If Jo wasn’t available, then the other members of the Wedding Team were also quick to respond to queries. On the day, Jo’s calm demeanour helped to reassure us that everything would go smoothly, which it did. The venue looked beautiful, and the weather even behaved itself (we’re sure Jo had a hand in that too…). We would highly recommend this lovely venue for anyone planning a wedding or other ceremony.

Highfield Park was an amazing venue for our special day. From start to finish, everything was smooth, easy and enjoyable. My husband and I went to visit Highfield with very little understanding of what we wanted or even when we wanted to get married. Zoe was such a fantastic help - showing us all the options and packages available and taking time to show us around the venue on numerous occasions. We very quickly decided it was the venue for us when New Years Eve was available, such an unusual time of year. However, this was not a problem in the slightest for any of the staff there. The team were so organised, so dates for meetings and food trials were very quickly in place, which was so reassuring. We met with Joanne, our wedding coordinator, who made us feel relaxed and excited at every visit. She knew exactly how the day would run, and took time to discuss the finer details accurately. Joanne was always prompt to reply to emails and so reassuring. There certainly wasn't anything that she couldn't sort or arrange for us. And, as a result, our day was perfect. The staff worked so hard to set up the venue, recognising our vision and bringing it to life. The receptionists, bar, chefs and waiting staff all worked tirelessly, making every little detail special. When one of our guests had a diabetic hypo, they were supportive and were able to help with it promptly and calmly - which needs recognition. We cannot thank the Highfield team enough -particularly Joanne for the long day she worked, the effort she put in and her organised and friendly manner. If we could, my husband and I would gladly do it all over again, changing nothing! Thank you so much Highfield. It couldn't have been any better, a day and venue we will always treasure!

Can honestly say that we had the most perfect day. Would highly recommend Highfield Park to anyone who is looking for a perfect venue. Food was amazing as were the staff. Rebecca our wedding coordinator was fabulous and helped to keep me calm when I was stressing about things. So many amazing areas for photos and also for guests to mingle. We had the time of our lives, as did our guests. Very good value for money.
