-A Getting Ready Room with access from 8am until the ceremony.
-A wedding coordinator on-site with you throughout the whole day and into the evening.

The village of Hackness nestles under the brow of hills forming the Derwent valley and the local church can trace its story back to 680AD.
Our stunning wedding pavilion is surrounded by natural beauty and sits on the island, across the lake, making it the perfect setting for taking your vows in an outdoor setting.
Throughout your planning and preparations, our dedicated wedding co-ordinator who has a wealth of experience will be with you every step of the way. We offer exclusive use at Hackness Grange, so you can enjoy a personal and dedicated service.
You have the option of celebrating your wedding breakfast in our Elizabeth Suite, which is able to cater for up to 120 guests for formal dining and up to 170 for the evening celebrations. Or if you prefer, you can have a smaller more intimate ceremony and wedding breakfast in our Derwent Suite. We are the only venue in the North Yorkshire County Council area who are licensed to have outdoor weddings 12 months of the year on the island as well as being licensed to hold civil ceremonies in both our Elizabeth Suite & Derwent Suite.
All our bedrooms have en-suite facilities and a picturesque view of the gardens, lake and Yorkshire countryside. Whilst you enjoy an evening in our Honeymoon Suite, your wedding party has the choice of staying in one of our traditionally decorated rooms in the main house, or one of our more contemporary designed courtyard rooms.

In love
We fell in love with Hackness the first time we visited and with each visit we loved it more. The staff at Hackness did everything they could to make our day perfect from dress mishaps to saving our cake nothing was too much for them. Our guest complimented the delicious food served at our wedding breakfast and the excellent fish and chips and pizza served in the evening organised by Hackness Simply the best Wedding Venue Thank you Emma and the team Iwe want to do it all again

Most magical day of our lives!!
We had an absolutely amazing day. The most perfect wedding we could have wished for. The staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. Pam was available for many many questions at any time of the day. We can’t thank her and the team enough. One of the waitresses even held my dress. Every single guest enjoyed the day and said how outstanding the views were and how picturesque the venue was. The food was delicious and filling. The island and the bridge was like a fairytale and added to the perfect day! Just perfect!!

I photographed a Joanne and Phil's wedding here in October and would highly recommend this venue. The hotel and the ground are just stunning. The hotel also allows couples to get married outside which makes for a beautiful and unique experience.

One of my favourite venues!
Hackness Grange is one of my favourite venues to photograph. I just know every time I go there that Sharon and her amazing team will have everything running smoothly and everything will have been thought of right down to the smallest details.
The main building, grounds and new island for ceremonies are breathtaking and from a photographers point of view it's a dream (just have a look at one of my couples standing in front of the main house). My couple's have never been left wanting for picturesque places to take photos on their special day.
Definitely a gem of North Yorkshire!
