Couples can use our gorgeous yurt or the rustic barn, both of which are licensed for civil ceremonies. The Barn can accommodate 120 for your wedding breakfast and up to 200 for your evening reception and has been beautifully furnished, with fabulous chandeliers and twinkling fairy lights. The Yurt has the capacity for 89 guests and can be used on its own, or alongside the barn during your wedding celebrations. It’s the perfect space for a drink’s reception or a cosy relaxation area, away from all the dancing!
Our dedicated wedding team will be on hand to offer help and advice, from your first visit all the way through to the big day itself! Every detail is taken care of - the resort even has its own reindeer and owls, who will be happy to pose for your wedding photos!
When it comes to the food and drink, we offer packages with both a relaxed buffet style menu and a more formal sit-down menu to suit everyone. Want something totally unique? Our chef can work with you to create a bespoke menu that suits your style and budget.
There is accommodation available throughout the site in luxury lodges. Wedding guests can make the most of their stay, taking advantage of the facilities, including the spa, swimming pool, The Terrace Bar and Restaurant and for the younger guests, the soft play and café.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do what you want to do. As much as your friends and family will try to help, you need to have the wedding of YOUR dreams, not theirs.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Handwritten personal messages to each and every guest with their favour and place name. Every guest felt special that day, not just the bride and groom.
Where’s the best photo spot at Gwel an Mor?
We have two very different photo opportunities here at Gwel An Mor.
The jetty on our fishing lake with fountain makes for a fantastic backdrop to your photos and our woodland bridge is the perfect fairy tale setting for some more intimate photos.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our head chef James' makes the most delicious mini Cornish fishcakes with tartare sauce.
Or for those with a sweet tooth, scones with jam and Cornish clotted cream...served jam first, of course!
What is Gwel an Mor most unique feature?
With our onsite farm we are so lucky to be able to offer photographs with the reindeer, owls and other animals.
Guaranteed to make your wedding photos a talking point for years to come!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
My team! I have the most amazing team of people who make sure every moment of your day is special.
They epitomise the values of our company, have a great sense of humour and you will always find them dancing behind the bar as they serve your guests drinks!
