Our Covid-19 Wedding
Good afternoon all, Just would like to take a second to send a massive thank you to all at Goldstone. We had the most perfect day and it really was the best day of our lives. We cannot thank you enough for all the effort Goldstone Hall put in and every little detail/ thought throughout the day. We are very much looking forward to part 2 next year and have no doubt it will be just as special. Until then here are a few photos of the day from Andrea Ellison that we felt captured how special the day was for us..... Kind regards, The Allens

An Afternoon Tea Garden Party Wedding.
Honestly I don't even know where to begin. From start to finish our experience with Goldstone Hall has been utterly magical. We held an intimate afternoon tea and garden party here for our wedding reception (we aren't the disco late night types.) Goldstone made it better than we ever could have dreamt from gorgeous food, to the relaxed manner. We were fortunate enough to have exclusive use so we had beautiful food and then an afternoon in the stunning gardens, bare-foot running around playing garden games, just a really picture perfect english garden experience. In the evening we all ventured off into little nooks of the hotel to relax, read, play cards, watch the sunset by the fire pit and just bask in such a beautiful environment for a once in a life time occasion. The rooms are beautiful, the food is gorgeous and what's so magical is that when you are there the staff and the branding of the business are so discreet it's easy to pretend you're at your own home, taking a turn around your gardens (it's nice to dream, if only for a little while!) We will not doubt return for anniversaries

The perfect choice for a Shropshire wedding!
This is a belated review for our wedding on the 1st July. I can’t praise the team at Goldstone enough, we and all the guests (including the 27 children!) had the most amazing day, largely due to their relaxed professionalism, hard work and planning. My, now, husband and I had decided to have our wedding in Shropshire and spent a few weekends visiting possible venues last spring. I’m not sure quite how we stumbled upon Goldstone, but thankfully we did, and as soon as we’d had a wander around the wonderful gardens and spoken with Sue we knew this was the right venue. Everything at Goldstone is both beautiful and practical, and you know you are in capable hands. The set up at Goldstone would suit a wide variety of weddings and means they can be quite flexible, something that was lacking in many of the venues we visited. We were married in the oak pavilion, had our drinks reception with garden games in the walled garden, a delicious Goldstone barbeque in the marque followed by a ceilidh, also in the marquee, and finally a disco in the dining room. I stayed the night before and we were able to use my massive bedroom to get the bridesmaids and flower girls ready. While we were preparing ourselves for the big day the Goldstone team were busy setting up the oak pavilion, garden games and the marquee. Victoria led the team in the day and Katie in the evening; they were both fantastically helpful, friendly and professional. If you choose Goldstone for your wedding venue, you really can’t go wrong. This is a superb family run establishment and they are rightly very proud of what they have achieved.

AN AWESOME DAY WAS HAD BY ALL
After I proposed on Xmas day we started to plan our wedding. we finally decided on Goldstone Hall as it was local & my in-laws had a birthday party there just before Xmas. We had several meetings with the team at Goldstone Hall &they made the organising of the wedding really quite straight forward. we did have a few issues however but nothing that would put a shadow on our day. My wife stayed there the night before with other friends & family & I stayed at home. the day itself was amazing, the tables all set up ready, the red carpet was out & our guests were enjoying the gardens & of course the bar! we were lucky enough to have the weather too which just topped the day off. the staff were awesome, the organisation was flawless & the day went stunningly well! we have had lots of great comments from all our guests saying how nice the food was & that the venue was amazing! Goldstone Hall was the ideal wedding venue but my advice to you if you are going to book it, if they offer you something make sure you stick to your guns as they did seem a little reluctant to live up to their promises where rooms were concerned. Other than that....I could not fault them.
