fforest is the perfect location for a relaxed, informal, weekend-long celebration with family and friends. The 200 acres of fforest farm are part of an area of unspoilt natural beauty, wrapped in woods, wildlife and wonder. fforest is flanked on one side by the Teifi Marshes nature reserve and on the other, Cilgerran gorge, through which the magnificent river Teifi flows down to our local town of Cardigan and the Irish sea beyond. fforest has been created as a place to enjoy the simplicity, pleasures and beauty of outdoor living in an outstanding natural environment, with its private tiny stone pub, large communal firepit and a choice of event spaces from the giant hat tipi and garden pavilion to dining and party barns. There is also a nature spa nestled in woodland available to hire. fforest is located in north Pembrokeshire minutes from the Cardigan Bay Coast. The venue consists of a variety of indoor and outdoor locations, terraces, raised beds and canopied areas giving plenty of options whatever the weather. There is on-site accommodation for 130+ ranging from a grand Georgian 5 bed, 5 bathroom farmhouse to 20ft diameter geodesic domes (guests pay separately for their accommodation). fforest holds a licence for intimate civil ceremonies in our lodge, Bwthyn pub or garden pavilion. You can also have your ceremony in our giant hat tipi or outdoors in our ancient steep walled quarry. We planned the whole thing in three months which could have been very stressful but Leanne was sensational. So supportive, funny and warm - making the process such a joy. In fact all the staff have been incredible, special shout out to Bronwen and the fforest elves who went above and beyond, taking all the stress away and just being fantastic. The big day could not have gone better, we started the day with a morning swim in the river, held our ceremony in their quarry which had beautiful dappled light, and our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the delicious food many months later.We are really grateful to the team at Fforest for their hard work and effort - particularly Bronwyn and Leanne, they were both so warm and welcoming and made the whole thing feel easy.We hosted our wedding at Fforest Farm in August 2024. The last wedding I shot here took place outdoors in the little quarry (no, it's way nicer than it sounds - just look at the picture!) and was probably the most unique and picturesque ceremony I've ever shot. While I'm here I've got to shout out the brilliant staff and the outstanding food that I was lucky enough to sample at my last job. Finally, the couples...what is it about Fforest couples...they're all such ridiculously nice people!I think I've shot around 5 weddings here and I still haven't made use of every beautiful backdrop it is an absolute dream.
