Each wedding we host is unique to Crug Glas whether it be 4 guests to 530. We have two buildings the main house which can hold up to 20 people for ceremony and wedding breakfast then we also have The Cowshed which can hold from 20-530 guests. As all of our weddings are bespoke we highly recommend a private viewing to discuss your individual requirements.

The cowshed is available to you for 3.5 days. Table linen, conference chairs, round tables, cutlery and china is included in this price, as well as a complimentary room for the bride and groom with a bottle of champagne on their wedding night.

- SS & N11/08/2026All round outstandingAll round outstandingFrom the day we first went to view the venue, it absolutely sold itself. The grounds, house, cow shed are all stunning just as they are. A lot of hard work is put into maintaining it, you can tell and that really makes for a ‘less is more’ venue rather than having to over decorate. We met Sandra who is the most warm and welcoming person you can imagine. The venue has plenty of flexibility in terms of where you actually marry - which is great if you’re looking for something different as even in the same venue, every wedding will really feel different. This is something I was conscious of, I didn’t want to turn my wedding into a gimmick to make it feel different. Sandra and the owners were completely transparent from the get go in regards to costings, essentials, they didn’t push any extras (which I was already on the back foot for due to so many horror stories from friends’ experiences with different venues and hidden costs or last minute price hikes etc.) and are just the most trustworthy, down to earth people - it made the planning process a breeze. The weather was not predictable on the weekend of the wedding, but that didn’t matter as the owners were relaxed and ready for a plan a,b,c whatever it was I wanted, there was no stress. We married outside and moved actual location of the outdoor ceremony due to wind, it was an unexpected part of the day but actually turned out so well! We married in front of the Cow Shed, a gorgeous walled garden setting which was completely sheltered from the wind and a total sun trap. It meant a very short walk to the welcome drinks in the outdoor seating area which was particularly helpful for elderly relatives. The whole day ran so smoothly, the staff were incredible. My toddler even sneakily asked someone for a hash brown (so random) but they actually went and cooked her one! The canapés were stunning, I was really happy with my choices as were all the guests and the wedding breakfast was outstanding, all the guests commented how amazing the food was, evening food included (we had pulled pork rolls etc). The venue size and layout is perfect, this was something I was really looking out for as some venues I’ve felt end up having the wedding guests quite separated when there’s funny shaped buildings, outdoor seating in a slightly different location or a big bar for people to hide in, this venue is one big room essentially so all guests, whether they’re on the dance floor, at the outdoor seating, at the dining tables, signing the guestbook or at the bar are all in the same place - perfect! The accommodation is unreal, absolutely stunning rooms! I was blown away when Sandra showed us round, I was expecting lovely rooms but, wow! These rooms are incredible, all different and nothing short of luxury. Breakfast the following morning was served in the new garden room and the view was stunning. Breakfast was amazing and it was so nice to all get together and debrief the next day. I was dreading packing away the next day but the staff were so helpful and it didn’t feel rushed at all. In general, incredible venue, wholesome and kind owners and staff, gorgeous food, a beautiful venue all round. Cannot recommend enough. If you are even considering this venue, stop looking and book it! Crug Glâs is absolutely stunning, inside and out. The Cow Shed gave us the perfect blank canvas, with a fantastic large indoor space (a real blessing given the unpredictable April weather) and equally gorgeous grounds outside. We were given plenty of time and space beforehand to decorate exactly how we wanted, bring in our florist, and add extra furniture and dressings, without a hint of fuss. The venue's own recommendations were spot on as well - their list of vendors was comprehensive and very helpful. The rooms on site were excellent, and having family able to stay right there made the whole weekend feel relaxed and special rather than rushed. Honestly, the food was something else! Guests told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The range of options was huge, and the kitchen could not have been more accommodating with dietary requirements and last-minute amendments. They even created a dish ‘off menu’ at our request, and it was delicious, and a huge hit with the guests. The service throughout was outstanding. From our very first meeting, we had regular planning visits and catch-ups, and the team made it effortless to coordinate with the other suppliers we brought in - everyone was made welcome and it all just worked. On the day itself, and every time we visited beforehand, we were incredibly well looked after. Owners Janet and Perkin Evans were supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. A special mention has to go to Sandra, who coordinated everything - she was absolutely out of this world. So caring, enthusiastic, open, honest and helpful, and she worked tirelessly to make sure our day was a total success. We genuinely could not have done it without her. In the days leading up to the wedding, Beth took over and was fantastic. Everything from start to finish was impeccable. The Venue & The Team A truly unique thing about Crug Glas is that the venue is exclusively yours for the whole weekend. It’s a genuine ‘blank canvas’ which you can put your own stamp on. This was brilliant, as it meant we had a few days to prepare and choose our own theme and decorations, making the place feel truly ours for the day. Throughout the run up to the wedding, the communication was fantastic. We were always able to get in touch and have questions answered promptly, which really helped put our minds at ease. We were made to feel so special. Sandra, Bethan, Janet, Perkin, and the entire team were absolutely fantastic. Sandra, in particular, became a friend from the moment we met her. She was so personal and relaxed, it made the whole planning process so easy. The team was so accommodating for our every need and truly went the extra mile. They even saved us some canapés for when we arrived from the church, and put aside some evening food for us after the party had finished! Nothing ever felt like a chore or a big ask. The Food: A True Highlight The food was one of the absolute highlights of the day. The best thing about Crug Glas is the flexibility they offer. Although they provide example set menus, we were able to choose our own choices and create a bespoke menu. We certainly went 'off-piste' with our options, and the chefs and kitchen team did a splendid job accommodating us! The portions were perfect and so, so delicious. Location & Accommodation The venue itself is simply stunning, with so many areas to choose from for photos (rain or shine). Its location is perfect—quiet and just a short drive inland from the picturesque Pembrokeshire coast, and also a short drive from St Davids. This was ideal for our guests who weren't staying at the venue (it's only a 10-minute taxi to the Premier Inn, which was fantastic). As for the on-site accommodation, well, what can we say! The rooms were stunning, so comfortable, and cosy. Janet and the team have done such a great job; we loved the detail and uniqueness of each room. The breakfast was simply divine, too, with full breakfast and continental options. We will certainly be booking a few nights in the near future! Our Final Thoughts Words simply can't do justice to how Crug Glas made our day everything and more for my wife and I. The day felt seamless, and we were made to feel so special. They really went all out for us from the start. Even communicating at the beginning and meeting up with Sandra before the day to go through the details was done efficiently and we knew we were in very good hands. Sandra helped us decide what would work best for us as a small wedding party but no detail was left out. Then the lead up to and the day itself was managed superbly. They took care of us all day and nothing was ever too much. Even the day before when I realised that my veil would not stay in place (I had it clipped onto the shoulders of my dress, but it kept falling off) they thankfully had a needle and thread on hand so that my mum could sew it to the dress and it looked even better. They decorated the dining room beautifully and always asked if there was anything more they could do or they would be happy to change if need be. We are so incredibly thankful for Crug Glas, they ensured a day to remember with no stress or fuss, only fun and laughter and incredible food. Yes, the food was fabulous!! Again, nothing was too much when we had a look at the menu and wanted something that would suit a small wedding party. We wanted a roast dinner for us with all the trimmings and they certainly delivered above and beyond. Every year the four us at the wedding have decided to go back each day as close to the original wedding day as possible and celebrate again and again.
