Everglades Hotel

We had a brilliant day and I would recommend the Everglades to anyone thinking about somewhere for their reception. From Mairead leading up to it, to David and his team during the day, we were looked after from the word go. The staff couldn't do enough for us,the food was spot on, the waiters,waitresses and bar staff were a pleasure. Thank you.

We had our wedding in the Everglades on Friday and we couldn't recommend it enough. The food was beautiful and the ballroom is gorgeous. JP and Mairead were super helpful in the lead up to the wedding and on the day everything went absolutely perfectly! Thank you so much

We have no idea where to start or how to even express our sincere gratitude and thanks to all the management and staff at the everglades hotel for helping us have the most amazing day yesterday. You were all a huge help over the past 2 years but more so over the last few weeks when we were finalising our plans. Our day was just perfect and the staff were very attentive. I cannot say enough to praise the everglades Hotel and staff. From when we booked Mairead and Catriona were so helpful. Every worry was put at ease,, every request was not a problem to them. On the day us and all our guests were treated so well. Service was fantastic and everyone has commented on how hot the dinner was, which is a rarity at weddings! We're so glad we booked the everglades and will recommend it to all our friends for any event.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day at the Everglades Hotel. From our first initial meeting right through to the day itself, the service and friendliness we experienced was second to none. The events team are first class with the most beautiful ballroom which lights up to look magical for a winter wedding. If you decide to have your wedding at the Everglades, I have no doubt you will feel the same way as the events team take all the stress out of it and make it look easy!

We would like to give a massive THANK YOU to the staff at the Everglades Hotel, Derry. We had our wedding here on 16th August (ceremony and reception) and everything was perfect from start to finish! Nothing was a problem for Catrina and her crew! Food delicious, room decor fabulous. They made what could have a been a very stressful day the easiest and most enjoyable!!! Myself and my husband recently had our reception at The Everglades Hotel. From our first meeting with the hotel, right up until the final dance on the wedding night, our experience has been amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble, everything was seamless and the staff were so helpful, professional and friendly. And the hotel itself looked so beautiful. We had the perfect day and want to thank all the staff again. We can't recommend The Everglades enough.

Everglades Hotel was recommended by our parents and when we looked at the wedding album, we felt it was the right place. We communicated with Mairead throughout the planning and met with Jason to finalise everything. Staff were incredible, can’t fault them. They did everything they could to make our day extra special.

We chose the Everglades because we have always liked it as a hotel and the food is outstanding and also Stephen’s Mum and Dad got married and had their reception here so it was close to his heart. We met Neill shortly after our engagement and he showed us around the Hotel and we were sold. Covid happened and everything stopped but we had secured the Everglades and luckily didn’t have to change our date. as the day approached, we co-ordinated via email with Mairead Kelly who was always there to answer any question big or small. our wedding day ran smooth with the excellent staff and Jason who is in charge of the Weddings. We only got to meet him the day before but he was lovely too and we couldn’t have asked for better.

We choose the Everglades Hotel because it provided the elegant ‘grand ballroom’ effect we were looking for. This was topped off by their excellent service, modern rooms for our guests and friendly atmosphere. I (Emma) previously had afternoon tea in the Everglades and loved it and when looking for a venue, my sister Rachel suggested considering it. Knowing the excellent service and fabulous décor and food, it was a great idea. This was confirmed when we met with Jason for the first time. Jason was able to confidently reassure us that we would get the wedding day we longed for. Jason was very friendly and listened carefully to everything we wanted. We decided there and then that the Everglades was the venue for us. Jason then made it his mission to provide us with everything in our price range, it was a package we could not refuse. On the day, all of the staff were amazing and so helpful. They made us feel so special and anything we asked for was no trouble to them. Everyone was so friendly and professional.
