Events @ No 6 opened its doors in 2019, as an innovative new venue in bustling Aldgate, in the City of London. Facilities include a variety of bright and airy meeting rooms and event spaces, hosting from 2 to 210 guests with in-built AV. Our flexible spaces are available weekdays, evenings and weekends and can accommodate fine dining for up to 150. The tranquil terrace with stunning views of London’s iconic skyline is ideal for summer receptions for up to 100 guests. 6 Alie Street is within easy walking distance of Aldgate East, Aldgate and Tower Hill tube stations and 10 minutes from Liverpool Street or Fenchurch Street. Proudly awarded ‘Best New Venue’, at the 2019 Hire Space Awards, our reliable team will provide bespoke event planning and on the day hospitality services for an array of events including: corporate meetings, weddings, private celebrations, academic conferences, product launches, drinks receptions, barbeque parties at the terrace, fine dining experiences and AGM’s. The venue was amazing
The venue was amazing. We had use of the south and north terrace with amazing views wherever you looked - particularly the north terrace which is stunning. And the seated area indoors was comfortably enough space for our 70 guests. The food was delicious and our host, Armando, looked after - and usually pre-empted - all our needs with a friendly, professional ease that made the whole evening fun instead of stressful for me and my team. Really magical

Describe the best wedding that happened at Events @ No 6?

In the summer of 2023, we had the honor of hosting a stunning wedding that was nothing short of magical. After a heartfelt ceremony at a nearby church, guests arrived at our venue to celebrate with a champagne reception and a selection of canapés. The celebration seamlessly transitioned into the banquet room, where a three-course fine dining experience awaited, designed to delight the senses. The evening was full of unforgettable moments as the couple and their guests enjoyed live music from a fantastic band. The large LED screen and microphones with sound system allowed friends and family to share funny memories and heartfelt speeches, making the event deeply personal and touching. As the sun set, the couple and their loved ones took breathtaking photos on our terraces, with the city skyline providing a stunning backdrop. The festivities continued into the night with an open bar, where a DJ and saxophonist kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. From start to finish, the day was filled with joy, love, and elegance—a perfect example of the kind of magical wedding we strive to create at our venue.
