Elms Barn

We had the most incredible wedding at Elms Barn. Ruth has been wonderful during the lead up to the wedding so well organised and helpful even helping with our first dance song choices. The day itself was incredible Sarah was the ultimate professional running the day like a well oiled machine. So friendly and kind keeping us calm and ensuring we were well tended to all day. The day went off without a hitch and I didn't have to think about anything all day Sarah did everything and was completely amazing, George and the rest of the staff at the elms were also fantastic, they were friendly and professional from helping me with my dress to joining in on abit of dancing every single one of them were brilliant, the venue itself is beautiful the gardens are well kept and so beautiful every place on the grounds is classic and elegant. The flowers by Teena where beautiful better then I could have ever imagined it was the most amazing day. The lodge and cottages at the venue we stayed in were amazing clean and well supplied there was so much space and felt quite sound proof we had a few children staying and nobody could hear any night time tears from the tiny humans. All I can say is what an incredible venue, an incredible team and an incredible weekend we had. Thank you to every one of you at Elms Barn for making our wedding weekend so memorable.

We had our dream wedding at Elms Barn and all the staff made it so easy and was totally perfect. We also were quite a last minute wedding so it was extra stressful although Ruth made it seem far from stressful. All the in house team that sorted things out did exactly what they said theyd do. Everything was perfect and I wish I could do it all over again. On the wedding day itself Sarah made sure everything ran perfectly which it did but at the same time I didnt even notice her there which was great. All the staff were amazing and joined in my celebrations which was great fun. Couldnt fault anything at all! Beautiful location too! Thank you so much

Ruth was our wedding co-ordinator at Elms Barn and she was excellent at every turn. She got our ideas and helped us to execute them. The barn looked exceptional on the day and we were able to have the ceremony in the Rose Garden which was beautiful. Teena advised us on flowers and produced the most beautiful bouquets and bud vases on the day. Everything was very relaxed, personalised to us and ran smoothly on the day.

We wanted to show our appreciation to you all, it was truly amazing and everything we could have asked for! We made the right choice in choosing Elms as you were all so wonderful and made us feel like the guests of honour.

After lots of online research, we decided to view The Elms Barn on a cold and rainy November morning. This was the first and last venue we saw. Despite the glum weather, we knew that it was the perfect venue for us to be married. We loved the how beautiful the setting, barn and marquee was, but we especially loved the accommodation options. We felt as though it wouldn't just feel like a wedding 'day', but more a whole weekend in which we spend with our loved ones.

This was the 2nd venue we viewed and as soon as we walked in we knew it was the place we wanted to get married, it’s absolutely stunning. Ruth was incredible and efficient from start to finish & had a lot of patience when I kept asking questions😂Sarah was also incredible, instantly made us feel at ease and made sure everything was going to plan! We can’t recommend Elms Barn enough, they were so accommodating and we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day.

We got married at Elms Barn June 2024. We booked the venue back in November 2022, it was the first and only venue we looked at. It had everything we wanted, needed and more! The venue for us was perfect. Onsite accommodation, which was clean, tidy and spacious. It was perfect for us to hold a bbq the wedding eve with our friends and family and then loads of room for the chaos the wedding morning naturally brings! There was plenty of accommodation so we could have our family and wedding party stay with us and celebrate all weekend. The outside gardens were a big selling point for us. They are beautiful, the flowers all in bloom and rose arch walk through you can’t get a better aisle than that! We really wanted an outside ceremony and I’m so glad the weather was in our favour and we got ceremony we wished for! The barn is lovely and has so much character, it gives you so many opportunities to put your own touch on your wedding. Our wedding breakfast set up was everything we imagined and more and the food was incredible! There’s so many gardens and grounds to enjoy, it’s perfect with loads of photo opportunities for the couple and guests and plenty of room for any entertainment you want! We had mini golf, garden games and three food trucks in the evening. We got so many compliments from our guests about how lovely everything looked and what a great venue it was. We can’t thank Ruth enough, she was spot on from our first email, she’s quick at responding, gives her honest and professional opinions and couldn’t do enough for you and your guests. Sarah was our front of house and she made everything run with ease, you can tell that these two love their jobs and will go above and beyond for their couples. All the staff are a credit to Elms, I have to mention Amanda, she was just brilliant - thank you! We used Teena the in house florist and she made my flower inspo into a reality. They really pulled it all together! We’ve sent our flowers to be preserved so we can enjoy them forever! I just wish we could go back and do it all again because we really did have the most amazing day filled with love, laughter, surprises and even a fire engine!! A lot of this all coming together is down to this amazing venue and team. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return as guests in the future and see it from the other side! We cannot put into words what an incredible venue Elms Barn is. We had the perfect day and Elms Barn played a big part in making it this way. Ruth was incredible from start to finish! She was so helpful to us throughout the planning process - always available to give tips, advice and guidance. Ruth is beyond approachable and friendly and never makes you feel like you are being a nuisance (even when it’s just back and forth about how much tequila rose to be stocked behind the bar). Despite all of the other weddings she had - Ruth was always quick to respond to emails. Ruth was only meant to stay until just after our wedding breakfast, as Sarah was actually our on the day coordinator; however, the reality was that she left hours after this and when asked why she was still there she just said “I’m having a really good time” - you can tell that this is not just a job for Ruth but a passion and something that she really enjoys and loves and it really does show. Sarah, our on the day co-ordinator, was amazing. We had a meeting with her the day before and it was clear that she’d already spent time coming to grips with our wedding, as she already knew most of the details and it was just the case of nailing down on the finer details. Even on the day Sarah was trying to make us have the best day / experience possible and as we arrived back from our ceremony, she was there ready with the suggestion of instead of having the alpacas we’d hired for entertainment being there for when guests arrived - for us to walk round leading them to our guests, which was a brilliant suggestion and worked amazingly. Sarah, Ruth and the team were on hand the whole day to help with whatever was needed - we brought flowers back from the church and the team were quick to find places for them all to go. As a picky drinker Elm’s were great at accommodating what I would actually want to drink (fizzy drink addict here) and when we arrived back in the Bentley - Sarah had not just gotten us 2 glasses of pimms but a glass of fizzy for me too! Elm’s barn were always so accommodating and allowed us to do our wedding the way we wanted it. When we wanted to skip a starter and just have a main and trio of desserts - they allowed us to do this instead of their standard 3 course offerings! They were beyond helpful in finding alternatives for vegetarians / those with dietary restrictions. The food was incredible and we have had so many people praise it! Elm’s barn is a stunning venue, which was made even more stunning by their inhouse florists who made the venue look absolutely beautiful - a special thanks to Teena for helping bring our ideas together. Teena and her team did an absolutely fantastic job and we have had so many people comment on how amazing and beautiful the flowers were! Even Elms Barn’s bar staff go out of their way to make the day special. Once the bar had closed they joined us on the dance floor for the last few songs, which was a lovely touch! Elms Barn is a gorgeous venue with picturesque grounds, which were not only used by us for photos, but our guests also explored the beautiful grounds and took pictures too. We are so pleased we chose Elms Barn for our wedding day and couldn’t be happier with the wedding they helped create. We cannot recommend Elms Barn more highly.

We had a fantastic wedding, Ruth and the whole team at Elms Barn made sure everything ran smoothly. We fell in love with the venue on our first viewing and nothing else compared. We had an Autistic little boy at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing with accommodating his needs. The food was amazing and we were able to come up with our own menu. Couldn’t recommend enough.
