Derwent Manor Boutique Hotel

We had a very rocky start to our wedding planning, going through 6 wedding Co-ordinators in total. The 5th being awful and making us want to cancel our wedding at this beautiful hotel all together. However, they now have the perfect team in place. Both Cassie and Pippa restored our faith in the hotel and our wedding. Cassie is very thorough and puts your mind at ease. She is available to answer any and all queries you may have and is very good at communicating when she won’t be available. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we could not have asked for better. Pippa made sure our day ran smoothly and without a glitch. She even noticed when something was going wrong and altered this without us having to say a word. Laura from the waitressing team could not have done enough for us, she is constantly on the go and checks to make sure there’s nothing else you need. We would absolutely recommend this beautiful setting as a wedding venue and now that they have the team in place that they do, we are sure you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Just to say we what a wonderful wedding day we had. We honestly couldn't of imagined it being so perfect. The venue is beautiful. The food was amazing but most of all the staff at the hotel made our day. Nothing was too much trouble, they were attentive, friendly and professional throughout the entire day. We had planned to marry at Derwent Manor in October 2020 and due to Covid replanned for May and then eventually for August 2021. Thankfully we could go ahead this time. During that time the hotel did everything they could to reaccomodate us for the date we wanted. We booked in to stay the night before and had a buffet dinner for 33 of our guests in Prego restaurant. Everyone had a lovely night and the food was great. It set us up for the day ahead. On the day everything ran smoothly, guests loved the Allensford Suite which is so pretty with its vaulted ceiling. Garden room for drinks reception and then out into the lovely grounds for pictures. The views are amazing. Lovely meal for our wedding breakfast, piping hot and great service. Nice break and into the party, we had a band and the resident DJ who were both amazing. Lots of people on the dance floor. We stayed in suite 236 which is gorgeous. Gorgeous views and a lovely suite. It is a hard time for the hospitality industry but Derwent Manor should be very proud of the service it offers. We lost a few things (our fault) leaving things around but the hotel found all of them for us. We have stayed several times in the last two years and we will definitely be back to stay again. We stayed at the hotel for my Daughters wedding on Friday 5th November 2021. The hotel set in fabulous surrounding proved the perfect wedding venue for my daughters wedding. The staff, service, facilities, food, drinks and overall hospitality were faultless.

We got married at the derwent manor last week an can honestly say it was amazing from start to finish all off guests were blown away by the hotel an how beautiful the place is alot of them stayed over an said rooms were to a high standard, Cassie an pippa both wedding planners hats off to them both there were great. If anyone is thinking of booking there wedding here I wouldn't hesitate. Were sad it's all over but will be back for a visit soon.
