Our friendly Wedding Coordinators have many years of experience in weddings and are passionate about building relationships with each couple, sharing their little black book of suppliers to help you piece together a bespoke day of celebrations. You will be invited to attend planning meetings where we can discuss your day in detail and the team also enjoy being present on your wedding day to support you - including holding your hand and reminding you to smile before giving you the cue to walk down the aisle! Your Wedding Day at Curds Hall Barn: Ceremony Licensed for Civil ceremonies, the Main Barn’s impressive vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows give it a light, airy feel making it the perfect space for up to 120 guests to see you exchange vows. Alternatively, you may wish to marry in one of several locations in the grounds with spectacular views. Drink Reception Drinks are offered in the Main Barn or why not invite your guests to enjoy the views, and maybe even some garden games, on the lawn? You have the option of supplying your own drinks for the drink reception and the wedding breakfast with no corkage charges. Wedding Breakfast The Woodshed provides a contrasting space with its darker wood cladding and is the perfect blank canvas for your romantic dining experience. A list of approved caterers is supplied and if you fancy something a little different in the evening, there is ample space for food trucks. Rustic tables and Chivari chairs are provided for you. Evening Celebrations The Main Barn provides plenty of space for up to 200 guests to hit the dance floor at one end with a bar at the other, avoiding separating your party. The loft space provides a great vantage point and can be used to create a cosy snug area for guests to relax with a cocktail. A staffed and stocked evening bar is provided for you. Accommodation Up to 10 guests can stay at The Old Coach House and camping, including bell tents, can be accommodated on the venue’s parkland.

The best day

We literally had the best day!!! It was everything we hoped for and more. We are still on such a high from it all, I haven’t really slept much since hahaha. I honestly can never thank you Eleanor and her team enough for everything they did. Eleanor was utterly amazing the whole way through. 100% the best decision we made to choose Curds Hall for our wedding! All the staff were incredible. Everyone was so complimentary of Eleanor and the whole team. I have so many highlights and memories I will treasure forever and I genuinely feel so lucky to have had Eleanor as part of our special day. We will treasure forever. The fact she was out in the rain bringing ice creams and pizzas. She literally went above and beyond to make our day as special as it was. We could totally relax knowing everything was in hand the whole day. Gosh I need to go grab the tissues, I’m off again 😭😭😭. Eleanor made the whole wedding planning process relaxing and fun. She was always available to answer any questions we had and was very accommodating of any ideas we had. Couldn’t have asked for more!

The best venue possible

Myself and my now husband got married on the 15th of June 2024 at Curds Hall Barn and it was honestly the best day of our lives, and one of the main reasons for this was the absolutely incredible venue that is CHB. We started looking at venues back in March 2022, we viewed over 10, but CHB stuck out to the both of us from the moment we walked in there, we knew it was the venue for us. The views of the fields that surround the barn is just one of the many reasons that we loved it, let alone how incredible that barn itself is. Eleanor, Annabelle (before she left) and Evie were absolutely brilliant from the start of the wedding process back in 2022 to after the wedding day. They were on hand to answer all of my many and crazy questions, and nothing was too hard for them to sort. I was having a major panic about the weather the week of the wedding, but Evie & Eleanor were amazing and were so reassuring and helpful. We will never be able to truly express how grateful we are for the above named people, and for allowing us to have our dream wedding. Curds Hall Barn is absolutely perfect and I cannot praise it enough. Thank you.

Our Wedding at CHB

The moment we saw Curds Hall Barn online we knew it was special. We managed to view it quickly and were lucky enough to catch one of their open days to see the full potential this beautiful barn had. At this point, the venue had only had a wedding season or two but that wasn’t off putting in the slightest, especially when we met the venues lovely wedding coordinators. We quickly secured the barn for our chosen date and then went from there. Eleanor and her team supplied us with the top suppliers in Norfolk and offered valuable advice to us throughout our two years of planning. They made our planning process so exciting and guided us as and when we needed it. We were invited to all of their incredible open days and enjoyed every moment of them with our family and friends. Each time we were reminded why we had chosen CHB. When it came to the day of set up, Eleanor was there with kindness and support. By the time we had finished, the barn looked as we had always pictured. Needless to say, you could do nothing to this beautiful venue and still be married in picture perfect surroundings! We also booked to stay in the lovely Coach House for the weekend, which really was a great decision. It was the ideal set up and we created memories for life from a weekend with our loved ones there. The wedding itself was quite a wet one and even though it wasn’t what we had planned, everything went perfectly and I do believe that is thanks to Eleanor and the team. Our wedding really was the best day of our lives and we honestly don’t feel there is another venue that would have given us a better day. CHB will always have a very special place in our hearts and we are extremely thankful. The Mannings.

The perfect day at the perfect venue

From the moment we drove up to Curds Hall Barn, we were pretty certain that we would choose this as our wedding venue. Driving away after that first meeting we couldn't stop smiling, and it was a joy to work with Eleanor and the team at CHB, both in the lead up to the big day, and on the day itself! The venue was absolutely beautiful, with the right amount of space so that everyone felt involved at all times, without being crowded. Having our wedding breakfast in the Woodshed was intimate and the drinks reception out on the grass was perfect. When we told Eleanor that we wanted a Mexican themed wedding, she suggested Beat Banditos, a mariachi trio who play modern songs with a Mexican twist, and they were amazing!! it was such a great addition to the day. We cannot thank Eleanor enough, for all of her support and advice, who was alway ready to answer any and all of our questions. Truly a perfect day and we are so thankful to CHB for helping to make it so! 100% would recommend!

Simply perfect

Where to begin! Everything at Curds Hall Barn from start to finish was just amazing, it was the perfect venue for our wedding. Annabelle, our coordinator and the team from the very beginning went above and beyond to ensure we had our dream wedding. We are beyond grateful and during the whole process leading up to our wedding and during, we felt completely at ease. All of our guests have commented on how lovely the venue and grounds are. We also stayed in the Old Coach House with our family/friends for our wedding weekend. Again, such a beautiful house and would definitely recommend for other wedding parties. The honeycomb old fashioned was a great hit and I am forever grateful for you saving my veil as it blew away in the wind! It is a truly amazing venue and we are just so grateful for everything.

The BEST wedding venue!

We simply had the best experience getting married at CHB. From our initial show round to the wedding day itself, we could not have felt more supported by Eleanor and the team. They were so kind, helpful, but never pushy, and we felt fully supported throughout. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and it was amazing to be able to access the barn the day before to put our spin on the venue. We also absolutely loved having the Old Coach House available to us throughout the weekend, making our wedding feel like a real occasion that we could properly celebrate with those closest to us. Describe the best wedding that happened at Curds Hall Barn?

We have been very lucky to have seen a huge variety in the weddings that we have hosted so far. From festival vibes with outside dancing to a rustic extravaganza complete with pet sheep and even a country and western inspired day! The best weddings are definitely those where the couples embrace their individual style and passions.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Planning a wedding can be a very difficult time for couples to manage the expectations of others with pressure from many areas. I would always encourage couples to try and focus on achieving the day of THEIR dreams and to try not be swayed by the wants and needs of others.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

My favourite personal touch was when one of my couples decided to take some time out of their drink reception to find a quiet spot to re-read their vows to each other in private. I always advise couples to try and find a couple of little 'time outs' during the day together as the day can go by so quickly and you can find yourselves very busy hosting, with little time for each other. This was such a beautiful way of connecting in the moment on their special day. ...I must say, I did also love watching a room full of guests take a shot of whiskey during a celebrant-led ceremony to toast the happy couple - that definitely got the party started!

Where’s the best photo spot at Curds Hall Barn?

With over 12 acres of parkland and fields and buildings dating from the 17th Century, there are so many options! With unbroken views for miles, the golden evening sun and particularly the Autumn sunsets with a countryside backdrop are simply spectacular - real mantelpiece stuff! My favourite spot is under the mature copper beech tree when it is in full leaf.

What’s your favourite canapé?

I love a sweet treat as part of a canape selection.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

I have loved seeing the variety of evening treats that our couples have chosen recently, particularly some of the food truck offerings. Dirty fries always seem to go down well!

What is Curds Hall Barn most unique feature?

The long sweeping driveway definitely builds suspense before revealing the incredible flintwork and red brick walls of the barn but the most unique feature is probably the barn's original Grain Store and Hopper which have been retained in full, providing a point of interest for photographs.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our team. Curds Hall Barn is a family run business and even those of us who are not officially related feel like family now! The team work very hard behind the scenes and genuinely enjoy going the extra mile supporting our couples through their planning journey and on the wedding day itself. We appreciate our privileged position as a part of your wedding day, taking great pride in getting to know couples and forging some wonderful friendships along the way.
