Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and Spa

We would like to thank the special events team at the Inchyra for all your assistance, support and patience throughout this year for the planning of our wedding reception on 28th September 2024. From the first time we visited the Inchyra at the Razzmatazz wedding fair in January, we knew we wanted this venue for our reception. It has been a stressful year with the wedding planning but Kathryn had a great vision from the start and made us very comfortable throughout the months that followed. Communication and organisation until the big day were great and gave us peace of mind. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the whole team including Aran who was our wedding coordinator on the day and was absolutely amazing

The team at the Inchyra were great from start to finish and made the experience of planning the wedding stress free. Everything went to plan on the day and it was perfect. Special mention to Aaron who was fantastic all day and during the evening to help everything run smoothly, nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel like the day was as important to him as it was to us!

From our very first contact to the moment we checked out after the wedding was over, the team at Inchyra were absolutely amazing and could not do enough to help us. You all really made our wedding the best of days and every one of our guests commented on how lovely all the staff at the hotel were across the whole weekend.   We really cannot thank them enough for making our big day so very special and so very easy and relaxed. It was joyous!!

Kathryn - was amazing throughout the whole process and put us totally at ease knowing she was in control of every detail from start to finish. Nothing was a bother. On the day itself she was a beacon of calmness and support and for that we will be forever thankful (especially Christina for getting me down the stairs in that huge dress ha ha!!!) Jack and Aaron - who kept everything running like clockwork on the day and ensured everything was just as we wanted it on the big day. They were brilliant and they and their teams did an fabulous job. Everything looked amazing and just what we wanted. Our guests all commented on how professional the service was for the meal (which was absolutely delicious as well - compliments to the kitchen teams!!!) Paige and the reception team - all our gests were greeted by the lovely Paige and her colleagues and nothing was a trouble to them. They made everyone feel so welcome from check in to check out. Every member of staff we encountered across the weekend was lovely and a credit to the hotel. We really cannot thank them all enough for making our big day so very special and so very easy and relaxed. It was joyous!!

From the minute we set foot into the hotel for our initial appointment, not one member of staff has walked past us without a greeting. Every member of staff has treated us and our guests with courtesy and shared in our joy. However, we would like to offer special thanks to a few key individuals. The lovely Paige. What a front of house! You can’t help but feel happy when you see her face. Nothing is too much of a bother for her - even arranging flowers to be delivered on the morning of the wedding as an anniversary present. The reliable Aaron. He was on the ball all day and night. He consistently made sure that everything was to our satisfaction and checked that we were having a good time. He is clearly a seasoned hospitality pro and experienced beyond his years. What an absolute pleasure he was to deal with. And Kathryn, where do start. We can’t thank her enough for everything she did to make the day what it was. We both felt that she was so invested and genuinely wanted us to have the day we had envisioned. We will truly never forget her and she will always be such a special person to us.

Paige who we have spoken to a few times before the wedding on visit was amazing as always! Kathryn and her team were outstanding! Jacob one of the barmen for the weekend he was fantastic! Special thank you Aaron he was just amazing nothing was ever an issue whatsoever anything we asked to be done was done straight away with no hassle!

The bridal-suite was massive! Food was amazing! So thank you to all the team for making mine and my husbands day so special! We will 100% be back whatever chance we get!!

It was wonderful day and feedback from guests were very positive, on the food, the politeness and professional nature of the staff and the accommodation for whose whom stayed at the venue over the wedding weekend. A big thanks to Fiona, Kathryn and other members of the events team who were superb. A special mention for Aaron on the day whom was able to solve any problem, answer any query we had and was really supportive on the day. That's exactly what we needed and it helped enjoy our big day. We wouldn't hesitate about recommending Macdonald Inchyra to any couple looking to host their big day at your hotel in light of our experience.
