Hi, Just a quick note to say thank you so much for a memorable weekend. From the staff looking after us from when we arrived on friday and throughout the day on saturday. Please give my compliments to them all. The food was absolutely amazing too, so extra compliments to the chef. We understood the delay in getting into our rooms on Friday due to the Cheltenham races but we were more than looked after when we arrived – so thank you very much. Everyone commented about the beautiful venue.

Not a bad word to say about our wedding day celebrated at this beautiful venue. Everything ran seamless and perfectly. The staff go above and beyond, very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much hassle. The venue is simply stunning. Hotel rooms are spotless and have everything you need. All my guests were blown away with whole day, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Suzanne was on hand on the day and she is the most lovely person, made me feel more relaxed as I was super nervous. Food was DELICIOUS...no words! Thankyou for the best day ever

I will just like to say from the minute we book this venue I fell in love with the amara ballroom! The room is so beautiful and the space and lighting is amazing it makes it feel so magical. From start to finish the venue organisers were there for us all the way answering and helping us with any questions or ideas we would like to use or ask! I would like to shout to Lauren who’s has been an absolute star in being there for us from day one. Nothing was to much trouble no matter how many emails I sent her or telephone calls. She went above and beyond to accommodate all of what we wanted. The whole process with her was enjoyable and fun. The day itself was one to remember the room looked amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for us and our guests, from makeup and hair to the ceremony and wedding breakfast to the evening reception they were all friendly and professional. The food was amazing and everyone commented on how good the canapés were and I missed out on them gutted 😞 I would like to shout out to Suzanne who was by my side all day and made me feel relaxed and at ease. She laughed with me and Stuart all day! And also to Miles he was with us too all day too. He so lovely and helped with anything we asked off him you both made our day a little bit more special!!! How did you find the planning process? - breezy and smooth. Lauren was great and noted down all of our special requests. The payment links were good. Did anyone in particular make the process easier or more enjoyable for you? - Lauren, Susanne & Miles made the day so easy and were so professional and on it at all times! Was there anything that we could improve on? - dress code of the waiting staff was a little under dressed (blue jeans and T-shirts and puffer jackets!) for a wedding, but they were very efficient and friendly which was still great. Susanne was very smart and professional. Also the shower in the bridal suite did not work- plug hole blocked which flooded the bathroom floor. Not a huge issue as I showered in another guest room. What was the best part of your day? - the evening was amazing- great DJ and everyone was up dancing. Miles was always floating around if we needed him. The food was fabulous. Bar staff were great too. What made you book our venue? - how beautiful the ballroom was- the chandeliers and fairy lights! (I found you on TikTok). Holly/Lauren’s first impression was great and we loved them and the venue. Could you suggest an area we could improve on? - I was a little disappointed that we could not go and do the personal photos on the golf buggies at 2pm as planned. I appreciate the site is a golf course as well, however it is our most special day that we have paid good money for and I wonder if there would have been a way for us to go a different route to the lake/bridge to be able to do them. By 5pm when we were offered the buggies the moment had kind of passed and we wanted to go and freshen up ready for the evening. We did some up by the venue in the end but just a little thought I had! Overall though absolutely amazing from start to finish. So seamless and stress free and everybody was genuinely so helpful and caring. We had the best day possible and I thank you all at the Cotswolds hotel and spa for that! Cheers!

Me and Simon had the best day, we cannot thank the staff enough. Our guests have also gave us amazing feed back and everyone had the best time. Everyone worked so hard, and if you have any questions or suggestions they will listen and do their best to help your day run smoothly!

In the build up to the day: How did you find the planning process? Lauren and Holly were extremely helpful during the planning process. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always willing to answer our many questions. Did anyone in particular make the process easier or more enjoyable for you? Lauren, Holly and Suzanne were all wonderful! Was there anything that we could improve on? We can’t think of anything you could have done better! On the day itself: What was the best part of your day? We can’t think of anything in particular. Every part was perfect. Was there anyone in particular that made your day extra special? It was lovely when Holly and Suzanne came to wave me off in the Morris Minor when we set off for the church. The man that helped us in the evening was also fantastic. Incredibly helpful and polite (sorry we can’t remember his name!) Was there anything that we could improve on? Nothing. The day was perfect. The venue: What made you book our venue? The ballroom is beautiful and light. We loved the fairy lights and chandeliers on the ceiling. We also wanted to have a spacious venue due to having a large family. What was your favourite part about the venue? The ballroom is just beautiful. I also loved getting ready in the bridal room. Could you suggest an area we could improve on? Everything was perfect.

Cotswolds Hotel, Golf & Spa is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. The main Amara ballroom has a white draped ceiling covered in fairy lights, and there are beautiful chandeliers hanging down - it’s like something out of a fairy tale. I love the set up of the rooms as everything is all in one place meaning that the guests are not separated away from each other - the main room leads onto the bar and also onto the outside terrace. The venue have a variety of centrepieces that you can chose from, and you also have the option of hiring other decorative items and a post box which saves you having to buy them and dispose of them again after the wedding. The planning and organisation prior to the wedding day went very smoothly, our main point of contact was Jules who was very helpful and would respond to any queries that we had very promptly. The day itself could not have gone any better, everything went according to plan which we would like to thank Jules, Suzanne and Miles for. They were always there checking in on us and letting us know where we should be or what we should be doing next which we greatly appreciated. For our couples photos we were able to hire out golf buggies to take us out onto the golf course. It was a stunning location in front of a lake, perfect for photos. The three course wedding breakfast and hog roast in the evening were delicious and we had many guests commenting on how amazing the food was. At the reception we had the resident DJ Ian, he contacted us before the day to find out what sort of music we liked, and we were also able to request songs on the night. All of our guests had a great time dancing the night away! After the wedding we had so many messages from guests telling us how much they enjoyed the day, we even had one guest message us to say that it was the best wedding he had ever been to! We are so glad that we chose Cotswolds Hotel, Golf and Spa for our wedding venue, we would not have changed a thing.

Maybe inform the Groom that they can have a late checkout on the day of the wedding, if they are not seeing the bride before so that they can get ready for the wedding. On the day itself: What was the best part of your day? – The ceremony, so unforgettable and seamless. Was there anyone in particular that made your day extra special? – The ladies who run the service done it so beautifully. Was there anything that we could improve on? – No, literally nothing about the day could have been improved. The venue: What made you book our venue? – We came on a recommendation to a wedding fayre and the ballroom is stunning the course is stunning and so are the views. What was your favourite part about the venue? – The views were outrageously beautiful. Could you suggest an area we could improve on? - Get a hot tub and pool so people can chill around this as well as play golf to relax.

Cotswold Hotel and Spa had a picture of the Amara ballroom on Bridebook and was one of the first venues Martin said he wanted to look at. We looked into it more thoroughly and contacted them, they sent us further info very quickly and we found the information on their website very helpful. We liked that they had packages available to cover the whole day and then the Disco and Decoration package as an add on so we didn't have to worry about anything. There are a lot of pretty places out there but a lot of them you have to hire in the majority of stuff, Cotswold Hotel and Spa offered everything in one place. We were able to book a show round quickly and easily. It is a beautiful venue, with a lot of outside space for photo opportunities. We fell in love with it very quickly. After viewing some other places, we decided the other places just couldn't match it. The packages, beautiful venue and lovely team just made the Cotswold Hotel and Spa the place for us. They even offered a discount on the hotel rooms for us and our guests. Lauren and her team were so helpful and made planning our wedding a lot easier by answering questions very thoroughly and well. When everything was confirmed, they set the day out for us clearly and thoroughly. On the day itself the team seemed to be just as excited as us. Lauren, Angelo and Suzanne were there making sure everything went smoothly. They continued supporting us throughout the day. The team ensured everyone was were they were meant to be at the right time, calmed the bride down when she was going through a roller-coaster of tears to hysterical laughter. The food was amazing, we had the hogroast buffet, the only thing I think they could improve on is making the Eton mess a buffet too 😅 I think the best part was being announced as husband and wife but the events team and all the staff at Cotswold Hotel and Spa made every moment great. From the moment we came across the hotel on our search for a wedding venue, we fell in love. Initially, we weren’t sure if we would go ahead with the venue as we really wanted our dog to be a part of our big day and unfortunately the venue was unable to accommodate this (although they did offer a couple of solutions which was hugely appreciated), but as it ticked every other box we decided to go ahead. The venue is gorgeous and the staff are amazing, from our first viewing right through to leaving the day after our wedding nothing has been too much and they have gone above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and we had a stress free experience. I wish we could do it all over again - 10/10 would recommended
