The Coed truly is a wedding venue for all seasons. Warm and welcoming in the winter, blooming in spring, glorious in the summer sun and just made for autumn colours.
The Folly is a stylish, 360° all-glass pergola set in a fairytale secret garden among rolling grounds and historic woodland, with countryside views to the coast. This is a hopelessly romantic setting for your ceremony with the outside playing its part, whatever the weather. Contemporary floor-to-ceiling glass with fully glazed sliding doors and a fully retractable roof, you’ll be immersed in nature as you say your vows.
The Hendre Suite and Lounge Terrace is your own to create your very own ‘world away’.
The elegant space has been purposefully designed in neutral shades to highlight every individual detail of your day. Expertly created for weddings so that your big day flows seamlessly and conceived to highlight your key moments - your entrance; the right space for your top table; for all eyes on your first dance; for sharing and making memories at the bar and on the sofas; and for celebrating inside and out at the bar, on the dancefloor and onto the terrace through the day and evening. So your guests have the time of their life as you share the best day of yours.
And, while your wedding space is always entirely your own at the Coed, we also offer an exclusive use option if you want to make the whole place yours.

We had several meetings in the run‑up to the day, and they always responded quickly to emails, no matter how small the question. Nothing was a problem in the lead up, even when I had questions to go through the team made time to meet with me and go through any worries. All my wedding guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how the staff on the day were brilliant. They dealt with everything to ensure my day was stress free and enjoyable. The events team are brilliant and Megan was fanatic on the morning of the wedding, continuously checking in and keeping me calm. I can’t thank them enough my day was perfect. I can’t recommend Coed Y Mwstwr enough! Nothing was a problem in the lead up, even when I had questions to go through the team made time to meet with me and go through any worries. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful to say the least and the rooms were outstanding (we especially loved the “Cysgu” guard dog feature🥰) When going through the stages of planning the wedding, all staff were so helpful with consistent emails, planning and adjusting when needed. Rachel, Megan and Tegan were incredible at helping with our every need and making sure that our big day was as magical and perfect as possible - which it definitely was. It was served fast and hot with no mistakes or anything left out and all our guests where happy and full. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Ooo, that's a tough one as they are all amazing but it has to be one of our summer weddings just after the release of restrictions. From the night prior to the morning of departure, it was just one big party! The majority of wedding guests were travelling from a far, so to see these guests reunite after such a long and emotional period was something that can only be described as magical! Not a mask in sight, arms wrapped firmly around each other (whilst the other hand was accompanied by a glass of bubbly) mixed with laughter and excitement was the perfect recipe for the start of a big wedding weekend. The theme was just white, pure, elegant WHITE. From white floral tree's to petals and hurricane vases during the ceremony to white starlight drapes and dancefloors - just WOW.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Our favourite personal touch, has to be the Cake reveal. Bride & Groom had both designed each half of their wedding cake and was releaved on the day. It was a mix between Marvel & Pets.

Now your asking, how do we describe your dream venue in only 5? Inviting, Picturesque, Classically Elegant, Atmospheric, Romantic.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Being a picturesque venue, it is so difficult to pick just one spot! A couple of our favourites are in front of the Country House, this makes for a beautiful backdrop to that big group photo! Then, our woodland areas are the perfect setting for those more intimate couple photos! Just Incredible!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We had the pleasure of welcoming Nick Knowles! Safe to say, we did not ask him to fix anything during his stay!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Ooooo, we have so many!! Its a tough one, between Crispy Coated Camembert and Mini Cottage Pies.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Has to be a mini fish & chip cone!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Very cliche, however our team. We would be nothing without eachother and being a family run business this shines through in everything we do here.
