Everything was perfect from the moment we first visited and made our booking, the contact throughout especially the continuity it didn’t matter who you chatted to / emailed they always knew the answer, all the staff from the people who dressed the room, the food (oh my goodness the food!) and everyone we encountered throughout the day were simply fantastic.Thank you for what was an absolutely outstanding wedding day. The ceremony space is spectacular, the gardens are stunning for photographs and the reception spaces are beautiful. The food was also fantastic, and has been a real talking point for our guests! We cannot thank the team enough for all of their hard work in making our day so special! If you are looking for a first-class wedding venue, look no further. Our overnight stay was so comfortable & a great breakfast choice to add the finishing touch. Be proud of the service you provide as we received very positive feedback from our wedding guests. We always had the mindset that it was about spending time with each other and with our nearest and dearest and we achieved that in every way possible. Do you have a one wedding per day policy?
Yes, our One Wedding Per Day promise ensures you are the only wedding at Clandeboye Lodge on that day. Please note that occasionally there may be a lunch or dinner event in the events building, but these would be in a separate suite. If you want exclusive use of the building, we can make it happen – talk to us!
Are you a dog-friendly wedding venue?
Yes, we'd love for your furry friend to be a part of your special day. We welcome dogs at the ceremony and drinks reception. As part of our pet policy, we kindly ask that your dog be picked up before your meal commences, allowing all guests to fully relax and enjoy the dining experience.

Our experienced team has all the knowledge and expertise needed to seamlessly plan and execute your special day. They'll work closely with you, guiding you through every step of the process and ensuring every detail is perfect. Of course, the decision is entirely yours.
Can I have an outdoor ceremony?
Yes, Clandeboye Lodge offers the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony in Northern Ireland within our beautifully landscaped gardens, with a capacity of up to 165 guests. And, of course, ceremonies held outside are still fully legal and recognised. Should the weather not cooperate on your special day, don't worry, we always have a backup plan. We can host your ceremony inside, with space for up to 165 guests in the Viceroy Suite, or 135 in the Blackwood Suite, ensuring your day is perfect, come rain or shine.

Yes, we always have last-minute wedding dates available within the next 6 months. Our bespoke Swept Away wedding package provides you with everything you need for a stress-free planning experience. We understand that sometimes love just can't wait, our dedicated wedding team are happy to explore options with you. No such thing as short notice!
What wedding suites do you have available?
We have four wedding suites available to host your special day, all full of charm, style and real character.
- The Clandeboye Suite - perfect for large weddings with direct access to our beautiful, landscaped gardens, accommodating up to 300 guests.
- The Viceroy Suite - excellent for medium sized weddings, with a private roof terrace and access to our Diplomat Lounge. Ideal for receptions of up to 100 guests.
- The Blackwood Suite - detailed with arched timber beams and gothic windows for an enchanting ambience for wedding ceremonies for up to 135 guests, or intimate wedding receptions for up to 60 guests.
- The Sheridan Suite - a cool, contemporary space with access to a covered terrace area and feature firepit. Perfect for your pre-dinner drinks reception.

You won't find buffet-style service here; instead, we offer silver-service to ensure an elegant and refined dining experience from start to finish. We're also happy to accommodate all dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and allergies.
