Carden Park Hotel - Cheshire's Country Estate

The day was perfect from start to finish, staff were outstanding, they went above and beyond not only for us but all off our guests aswell. The food was sensational and nothing was too much. They were happy to help with anything. We’ve not had one complaint from the 100 guests all we have had is good feedback and everyone is talking about how much they can not wait to return to Carden park. It is not the cheapest venue or bedrooms but you certainly get what you pay for and a lot more from our experience, the rooms are gorgeous, leisure facilities are excellent that are also included in the room stay, the grounds around the hotel are beautiful and the hotel it’s self is more than welcoming. There is a great mixture of families, couples and others in the hotel and Carden provides for all! It was just a nice environment to be in. We could not recommend Carden park more for a wedding or break away it truely was amazing and we can not thank them enough.

Not sure where to start, our big day was everything we wanted! Natalie look after us at every point since starting at Carden, she eased my nerves and worries right up to the minute we got married! The C&B team who made everyone feel welcome on the day especially Abbie, Ellie and Ewan, the bar staff, everyone within the hotel was so so welcoming throughout our stay and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was incredible, everyone was commenting how delicious it was. We truly can’t thank you enough for helping us achieve our dream wedding, we will be forever grateful for everyone’s hard work! From start to finish it was a perfect stay. I couldn't fault the wedding planners, nothing was too much trouble. Redman's restaurant was lovely service and breakfast was brilliant, would definitely go again.

28.08.22 - The day we became Mr & Mrs Edwards. My husband and I would like to start by saying a HUGE thank you to the wedding team at Carden Park. From the chefs, the waiting on staff, the bar staff, the wedding planners, managers, reception staff, golf buggy driver and most importantly Kate (blooming beautiful-florist on-site at Carden), the day was absolute perfection in EVERY way. The food was INCREDIBLE, the meat, the pudding, the presentation was all on top form and was a hit with EVERY guest!!!! The bar staff were having conversations and making our guests feel welcome, no big long queues and there was a blonde lady (unsure of name sorry!) my 5 year old, is now calling her his “best mate” - so thank you! Pippa and Jack; on the day.. WOW! Everyone commented on the level of professionalism you both carried. You made us feel safe, looked after and that we knew exactly what we were doing when and when we were running late, that was also ok and you had a back up plan!!! Nothing was too much trouble and I don’t think your faces were without a smile for the WHOLE day!! The buggy driver. Our photographers were very impressed with how easy the trip was with the driver pointing out the perfect locations to be photographed and again, there was no trouble or time limit rushing us back when we were supposed to be finished. A very friendly man and happy to help! Kirsty; we have had approximately 4 wedding planners since booking our wedding at Carden Park (mainly due to covid we assume). However, Kirsty, by far, is THE best planner we have encountered. Her email response is RAPID! Her organisational skills are on point and she is friendly enough to have her as a hired maid of honour. I could go on all day about how amazing Kirsty was at organising all the little details for our special day! Lastly, Kate, I know Kate is not employed by Carden Park. However, due to her shop being on site and the work and commitment towards Carden Park that she has shown through out the 3 years we have been working with her on our wedding, I could not have left her out of this review. Kate helped us to know the best layouts of the room for the amount of guests we had, her room design is incredible with all of the items we hired from her. She remained on site on the day until I had seen every element of the room and was happy, even the parts that the hotel had provided. However, the best part about Kate; through covid, when Carden only had skeleton staff working and we were unable to contact ANYBODY from the events team, Kate responded to our emails as though she worked for Carden, she had Carden’s best interests at heart and reassured us at such an unknown and incredibly difficult time for everybody. You are very lucky having her on-site at Carden Park. Her standards definitely fit within the ethos at Carden Park. The only minor negative I have from the day is that VERY drunk hotel guests are able to access the room from the hotel and this caused slight disruption with our guests. Also, the amount of staff giving canapés as the majority of our guests didn’t receive or see them. My daughter got married here last week & we couldn't recommend highly enough. The setting was beautiful, the staff were fabulous. Jack & his team couldn't have done more. We have had so many compliments about the day. We all stayed a couple of nights in the suites & loved it. Thankyou again for the most memorable day.
