Calne Town Hall

The venue is licensed to host Civil Ceremonies and the Renewal of Vows, with a choice of three rooms offering couples both intimate ceremonies and larger celebrations. Rooms can be booked individually, or the entire venue can be hired for the day. The historic Council Chamber is the perfect setting for intimate ceremonies, with seating for up to 30 guests. Beautifully panelled in wood, the Council Chamber represents the full history and majesty of the town with period features. Leading off the entrance hall with its magnificent staircase is the Corn Exchange. Decorated in neutral colours this mid-sized function room can seat up to 50 people. Upstairs in the Town Hall, the Large Hall can be booked for ceremonies with up to 100 guests, and is also an ideal venue for dining and entertainment. With wood panelling and large windows, the Large Hall is spacious and bright, and regularly hosts special events and functions. The Town Hall has a fully licensed bar with a range of drinks and local ales available and a fully equipped kitchen. The hire of the venue includes the services of a Civil Ceremony Liaison Officer, who meets with couples and ensures their needs are met.
