Fantastic
Our wedding at Brympton House was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the bar team was exceptional, and the venue, garden, and grounds were all stunning. The Castle house was beautifully and magically decorated by Ellie and her team. I wish we could experience it all over again!

Stressful Experience with Brympton House
We got married at Brympton on 24th Feb. Overall, we had a very up-and-down experience with Brympton House. The house is stunning and many of the vendors are great. However, we had some very negative experiences. 5/5 stars: The house and grounds: the house and grounds are stunning. Together they truly have that wow factor and many of our guests remarked how amazing the venue was. We loved the different areas that we could use throughout the day, from the Great Hall, staircase, ballroom, and party barn. Overall, the house itself as a venue is amazing and will live long in the memory. St Andrew’s Church: the Church has that feel of history and intimacy. Laurence, the Reverand, was warm, charming, and really made a great effort in the ceremony that made it feel very personal. We are really grateful to him and his team. Bacchus Bar: they provide all the bar service on the grounds and they did a great job. They were easy to work with and collaborate with you on the order and the budget. The service on the day was 5-star, serving people quickly at the bar and the drinks tasted great throughout. The DJ: Ben Prescott the DJ was great to work with. Organised in the buildup, flexible, and he really made the night come alive. He stayed true to our must play songs and playlist but threw in some surprises. Wilson, the evening manager was awesome too - flexible and friendly. Styling: they understood our vision and gave some really nice suggestions on design and were very flexible. They worked hard to make the most out of our pieces, meaning they discreetly moved things around the venue throughout the day. Photography: We used Emma Barrow and we would 100% recommend her to anyone. 3/5 stars: Team Bee: Natalie was our coordinator from Team Bee. Natalie was consistently friendly and positive. She was very knowledgeable on calls. Between calls we had to chase a lot, some of our calls were missed, and some information was contradictory. But most importantly, on the day, she worked hard to ensure the day ran smoothly and was a big part of its success. Catering: we selected Sage with Zest as our caterers. Overall, our experience working with their team in the build up was positive. They were very responsive on email and their team were friendly. The main issue for us was consistency in communication. We felt they over-promised when it came to flexibility, but their costings organized around packages felt rigid. On the actual day, the majority of the food was great, especially the starters and evening food. The service was speedy and there was plenty of food. Unfortunately, our main was underwhelming, as two of our sides were missing. Furthermore, the continental breakfasts on both days were poor with elements missing. 1/5 stars: Customer service: this doesn’t apply to everyone on the Brympton team. Our visits were great. However, most of our interaction was with Sara in finance, who we had a terrible experience with. It started with being repeatedly chased for payments we had already made. She insisted on communicating solely through email, which led to weeks of lost time. Finally, when it got close to the wedding, she blocked plans made with our coordinator and turned rude and dismissive. Her messages were really shocking from a customer service perspective. Having the option of onsite accommodation was a real part of the draw to Brympton. The rooms themselves are comfortable but very expensive compared to the other local options and are priced similar to a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, the service around it is poor. There is simply no reception service on arrival, which meant when our guests arrived, they were left standing in the atrium for long periods. There is no one to show people to their rooms. Brympton has a lot of hidden costs after booking, which are core to the House such as the Honeymoon suite, room access, and the library bar. The worst one being a 500 pound charge to access the honeymoon suite before 12pm on the day of the wedding, which means the bride essentially has nowhere to get ready unless you pay.

WHAT A DAY!
I recently had the pleasure of hosting my wedding at this wonderful venue, and I cannot sing its praises enough. From the breathtaking surroundings to the impeccable service, every aspect exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The venue itself was stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop for our special day. Our guests were equally impressed and couldn't stop raving about the beautiful setting. I highly recommend this wedding venue to any couple looking for a magical and memorable place to say "I do."

Simply stunning venue
I got married at Brympton House in March 2024 using their Bijou booking option. We chose this option because our budget was limited. When we booked, we had reservations about our wedding having a 'budget' feel. However, there was no need to be concerned. Sage with Zest handled our catering and the food and service were absolutely excellent. The Drinks Link provided our alcohol package, which was also great. The styling team's special offer package was excellent value, and Eleanor made us feel valued and special. The venue itself is magical - very grand but welcoming and friendly, with lovely staff. Jess in the wedding office was particularly lovely, as was the evening event manager, Wilson.
