Full Description
This stylish townhouse hotel offers a blend of classical and elegant interiors and overlooks the beautiful Bruntsfield Links park which sets the scene for a truly memorable day. There are a huge number of different facilities and spaces for you and your friends and family to enjoy and to take advantage of. The contemporary Cardoon Suite is the ideal venue for wedding celebrations from 40 to 100 people near Edinburgh city centre. The Cardoon Suite is situated on the ground floor and has its own entrance and direct access through the conservatory to the secluded garden terrace. The hotel chef cooks with fresh local produce from Edinburgh, the Lothians and Scotland and believes few places have a better natural larder than the farms, hills, seas and rivers of Scotland. The team will go out of their way to help you in any way in which they possibly can.

5 Star Review
My husband and I booked the venue at an open evening, the first time we had ever seen the building. Fiona Brown, the Sales Manager who showed us around, was so patient and helpful throughout that we found the whole experience very easy. The hotel was beautiful, the room was lovely, the venue was set up exactly as we had hoped. The food was delicious for the wedding meal too. The whole experience was ideal - everyone did whatever they could to make it a good experience, especially Tomas and Ian who were facilitating the wedding. Nothing was too much trouble. I would totally recommend the venue to someone who wanted a city wedding that feels more intimate and and picturesque than being right in town, especially with the Bruntsfield Links and Meadows on the door step. Please note if you book the conservatory as we did, it is a stunning place for the ceremony itself and easy to have the whole wedding in one place but you will have to provide your own music as the conservatory has no sound system. It was made very easy for us to do it ourselves though and Fiona let us test and check everything in advance to make sure we were happy. Overall, Daniel and I are thrilled with the experience - The whole day was beautiful and we've had so many compliments on the set up of the room and on the quality of the food!

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

Following the postponement of a wedding due to the Beast from the East causing havoc with guests travel arrangements, in particular the brides parents and the celebrant who would have officiated at the wedding. The bride and groom had to reluctantly postpone their wedding from March 2018 to May 2018 due to the snow. Up to 2 hours prior to their ceremony time they were unsure if they would be able to go ahead. The sun could not have shone stronger for this couple on their rearranged wedding date in May, and this all made up for immense disappointment they endured when they had to cancel their wedding in March A wonderful day was had by all.
