Broomhall Castle

I don’t know where to start! What an amazing day. Even 7 years later my guests are still talking about how amazing our wedding day was. The staff at the castle were amazing, if it wasn’t for them the day wouldn’t of been as special. The day run so smoothly. We had a lot of children at the castle and they just let us take over. It was like home from home. As for the venue absolutely stunning! Bridal suite was amazing (huge!) Food was fantastic. We would highly recommend Broomhall Castle.

I was married at Broomhall in May 2012 on the hottest day of the year, and it was the perfect venue for us. We had a small wedding, and the front room we used was gorgeous and just right for the size of our group. The bedrooms were so spacious and comfortable, and the food was amazing. Everyone had an unforgettable time, with plenty of space to sit and talk, or drink and dance. Photos outside were gorgeous against the castle and the trees, and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly and we had all that we needed. My only regret is that we didn’t test the sound system ahead of time. We brought a phone with a playlist for the reception but the speakers weren’t as loud as I’d have liked; they seemed quite quiet for the space to be honest, but this was 7 years ago now so I imagine they’ve got more options, and to be fair I should’ve asked to test it out first. Everyone was lovely and their recommended piper was superb. I would do it all again! It’s a beautiful setting and was so wonderful to have everything in one venue, as well as a comfortable place to stay the night before and after.

We celebrated the union of our son and his partner at Broomhall and we all had a great day and were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble and they even managed to learn a few words of Portuguese to converse with some of our family that flew over for the weekend.

Amazing team , went above and beyond what we could have hoped for

We had a truly fabulous day in the snow . We loved the friendly staff , we were able to make the hotel our home for the week , even displayed our photos all over the lounge ! We loved that there were no hidden costs , we could budget before visiting . The staff were really flexible to our needs , we had a pancake completion the night before the wedding ( shrove Tuesday ) the night after the wedding we ordered a carry out for all the guests and sat in the bar screening the photos on the wall . Everyone was so relaxed and accommodating . It was such a great experience and we have been back for our wedding anniversary where again they were so helpful and we set up a family meal in the bar area so it was intimate. Would highly recommend 🥂

My husband and I got married here on the 9th November 2019, it was a fantastic day, the staff are really on the ball with everything and serving of the meal was totally spot on 😁. Everything was perfect, a truly magical day and we are so happy that we chose broomhall castle for our wedding.

We had our wedding day here on the 12th April 2019 and WOW what a day it was. Venue is fantastic, the food amazing and the staff went above and beyond not only on the day but on the run up to the wedding also. We cant wait to come back for our anniversary. Lots of love, Mr and Mrs Bowman xx

Had a fantastic day from start to finish, they couldn’t do enough for us like letting us choose menu that suited us drinks setting tables taking the stress away on our big day, can’t thank them enough for a great day some guests stayed & couldn’t believe the setting & the attentive staff. Thanks so much x

Had our wedding here it was fantastic staff are amazing nothing is to much trouble such a beautiful place and as a bride I have never been so relaxed knowing that everything was taken care of. The meal was fantastic as was the buffet at night 😁
