The Sansovino event space is an undeniably elegant venue to host your Big Day. Private yet spacious, the grand Sansovino was the former banking hall of Lloyds Bank. Designed by architect William Bruce Gingell, he is said to have been inspired by Sansovino’s 16th century venetian Library. Look up and the magnificent sky light is wonderfully romantic - and the perfect setting for your first dance to be. With a private bar, the space boasts a large dance floor so there is plenty of room for a live band, DJ or both to celebrate your future together! Licensed for marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships of up to 300 family and friends, you can choose to enjoy the whole day at the hotel, or opt to hold only parts of your day with us, such as the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception. With an additional event space, aptly named “The Vault”, this stunning venue has been created in the original banking vaults and provides a unique setting for your rehearsal dinner the night before the Big Day!
