Must stay here if in Wales!
Beautiful hotel and grounds. Elaborate décor takes you back to imagine what the facility would have been like decades ago. Restaurant was simply amazing. The attention to detail was perfect. The spa building was complementary for hotel guests, and was really relaxing. A small sauna and steam room, alongside a pool large enough for swimming laps and hot tub. Beautiful gardens and grounds to explore, even lovely on a cold and rainy day typical to Wales!

The best massage in North Wales
The best massage I’ve ever had. Mia works wonders, truly relieved so much pressure and pain in the neck back and finished off with the most relaxing scalp massage. Mia you are the BEST. Spa is wonderful in such a tranquil setting.

Best in Wales
Several weeks have passed since our stay at Bodysgallen Hall and we have not stopped thinking for a single moment about the beautiful days we spent there. We keep the best of memories of that place but especially for the warmth of its staff. We hope to return one day and take the good weather with us as it happened this time.

Royal treatment indeed!
The welcome and service that we received from the moment that we walked in the door was outstanding and told us that the evening was going to be something very special and it certainly was. The views of the surrounding countryside from the dining room are spectacular. The grounds are remarkable, as is the grand age of the trees standing in them.

Nothing but praise
Bodysgallen was the perfect setting for our day and we have heard nothing but praise for the food, rooms and service from our guests, as well as for the beautiful gardens and views. Spending our wedding night in the enormous and very comfortable Vaughan Suite was a fitting end to such a wonderful day and we look forward to returning to this special place for many anniversaries in the years to come.

Winter Wedding
We got married on the 20th of January 2016 and it was magical! The staff, the rooms and the gardens are all wonderful. Elgan and the rest of the staff could not have been more helpful. We had 11 people in our group and everyone was thrilled with our experience. Thanks again Bodysgallen, we cant wait to come back to celebrate our first anniversary.

Day before our wedding stay
From the moment we arrived for our spa day to the amazing dinner and the luxurious spa cottage (the smithy) we felt like a million dollars / pounds / euros ( whichever has the most value!! ) The grounds are beautiful, the Spa treatments first rate and the dinner, honestly was superb! I’m not a fan of veg but the flavour combinations had me eating all sorts of green things for the very first time!!! Service was first rate - Gareth was amazing start to finish and is a real credit to Bodysgallen.

Anniversary meal and overnight stay!
We had a fabulous stay at Bodysgalle fo our anniversary and as it happens also valentine's. We have been to bodysgallen on many occasions for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. Also a wedding many years ago and it never fails to impress. We had a fabulous meal we couldn't fault anything and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast along with our morning tea. We slept very well in our four poster room which was extremely comfortable. The old hall is a really wonderful place to get away from it all and just

Where’s the best photo spot at Bodysgallen Hall?

Make your way towards the formal garden, where the main house provides a picturesque backdrop. Or discover the enchanting 17th-century parterre.

What is Bodysgallen Hall most unique feature?

Awesome views: You approach the Hall passing over a cattle grid, whereupon life’s worries are just left behind. Pass along a winding drive through meadows, the outline of the Hall begins to emerge, and the ancient stone pine in front of it. Once inside the Hall, the views from the stone mullioned windows are quite unique. Being situated on the side of Mount Pydew, Bodysgallen Hall boasts outstanding views across award-winning gardens to Conwy Castle and Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range. From the top of the central tower, believed to date back to 13th century as a look-out during the building of Conwy Castle, you can capture the panorama encompassing Conwy Valley, Llandudno corniche, with the Great and Little Orme on either side.
