Blackfriars Priory offers a range of all-inclusive packages, for those couples would love a stress free experience. These packages start at £5150 for our midweek winter warmer offer, which is available Monday - Wednesday during November and between January and March, which includes warming welcome drinks, table wine and a three course wedding breakfast for up to 50 people in our atmospheric East Range.
We also offer a twilight wedding package available Monday - Thursday, an afternoon tea & hog roast package and a full works package, which are all available for a minimum of 80 guests.

The venue is steeped in history, displaying original 13th century oak beams that were gifted to the site by King Henry III

From our very first viewing, we knew Blackfriars Priory was the perfect place to get married.
From our very first viewing, we knew Blackfriars Priory was the perfect place to get married. Not just the venue itself, which is jaw-dropping once you enter the grounds, but Ryan and all the staff putting us at ease and making the whole thing stress-free.
Living in London, and getting married in Gloucester could have posed some anxiety, but we needn't have worried - Ryan was so responsive, friendly and reassuring through the whole planning. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer or potential problem (like the weather) he didn't have a plan for.
And the day itself went absolutely perfectly. Couldn't recommend the venue and the whole team enough! Thank you all so much for delivering our perfect wedding. D&A

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue!
We got married at Blackfriars and couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue! It's a beautiful building and a great set up with the two levels in the North Range (for dinner and dancing!) and a lovely outdoor courtyard which gives you plenty of privacy whilst also being central in the city (easy for guests getting back to their hotels!). Sue and the whole Blackfriars team were absolutely brilliant, so lovely, friendly and helpful and made sure everything went off without a hitch (excuse the pun)

Really great venue, staff were amazing for our wedding in August 2021, can not recommend this place enough. Such a unique place to get married and with so much heritage. All guest were amazed at the venue when they arrived and said it was like nothing they have seen before.

We got married at the Priory and had the most wonderful day. The venue is stunning and feels really private despite being in the city centre. The team at Blackfriars were phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for better people to help us make our wedding a reality! The site houses one of the oldest purpose built libraries in Europe, which is of huge historic importance as there are so few remaining.
