Family owned and operated since 2005. Located on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire the West Retford Hotel is the ideal venue for your wedding!
Situated in the heart of Retford town, we are ideally located as we are within walking distance for your friends and family from the local area. We also have 63 spacious bedrooms for your guests travelling from further afield. Our beautiful Georgian style bridal suite with a separate lounge area, complete with a luxury 4 poster bed and spacious bathroom can be booked for your wedding night which includes complimentary couples dressing gowns with Champagne breakfast the following morning to complete your wedding celebrations!
The hotel offers 5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens which can only be truly appreciated in person, with our hidden pathways, sunken garden, our stunning fountain and our ornate wedding pagoda, making it the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs, so the memories of your special day can last a lifetime.

fantastic venue
We got married at this fantastic venue 10yrs ago so I thought it would be nice to go back for our anniversary. I was in communication with Jessica and she arranged everything for me from the champagne and chocolates to the fantastic room and everything in-between. It was a surprise for my wife and she was thrilled.

Wonderful day and great support from the staff
We got married on March 24th this year and I have to say the West Retford both the staff and the venue are the prefect location. All the staff were more than helpful right from the pre wedding preparations to selecting favourite tunes at the end of the evening. Great compliments about the food. I really like that you have room to spread out whether it is outdoors or the large indoor facilities. Jessica the wedding planner at the hotel was great at keeping us on track. Would definitely recommend the West Retford

The lady in reception made me feel so special.
Popped in to make a booking for festive lunch for 3 person's. Fully booked in main restaurant but fitted me in another bar area. Perfect. The lady in reception made me feel so special. Love this place. I always feel that it wraps it's arms around me when I go through the door. This is so important to me at this time whilst I am grieving. Thank you to all the staff Judy

Our perfect wedding day
The west Retford hotel went above and beyond to make sure we had the best wedding as possible! We had a few slight hiccups with mistakes from other people for dressing the wedding but the staff at the west Retford hotel did everything to make sure that this did not ruin our day and still made sure it was perfect!
