Bake Barn

Bake Barn sits behind the stone walls of its own courtyard. It is a rustic and stylish building - a blank canvas for you to style as you wish. The building has been lovingly restored to expose the stone walls and the timber ceiling, whilst having the modern additions of luxury bathrooms, a commercial kitchen and of course Wi-fi. Bake Barn is available all year round and is licenced for civil ceremonies. It's secluded, so there are no noise restrictions and no curfew. It is the ideal setting for the biggest celebration of your lives. You receive the keys on a Thursday morning and we don't ask for them back until Monday midday. The main room has a fireplace at one end which provides a great focal point for flowers and fairy lights. Upstairs there is a versatile space, which you could transform into a snug, a bar, a photobooth or even a casino. Outside, the walled perimeter forms a private courtyard. Part of this courtyard is laid to lawn where you could erect a marquee or tipi, or just scatter hay bales for seating during your drinks reception. The central area is covered with gravel then on the far side is a covered loggia. The loggia and the barn are both licensed for civil ceremonies, so if you wish you can marry inside or out - but come nightfall, the loggia is a great sheltered space for your bar with an enormous fire-pit at one end. Sip cocktails in the open air, gossip round the fire pit and party under the stars. We offer hire on a dry hire basis, so we hand over the keys and leave you to prep and dress, marry and party! You can plan a survivor's brunch or a BBQ on Sunday, but we ask that the keys and the site are returned to us Monday midday. Dry hire means you source the suppliers you want and the furniture you want. You can create the special day you always imagined.
