At Badgers Holt the River Dart meanders through the grounds of this former fishing lodge, which houses a series of versatile, rustic spaces for celebrations, all perfect for styling with your own unique twist. Take your vows in the blank canvas Riverside Garden Room, Banquet Fireside Room – complete with a roaring wood burner – or even in the garden bandstand on the water’s edge. Venture onto the ancient Tor-dotted moorland for dramatic photos and together-time before returning for festoon lit celebrations and firepit gatherings on the riverbank and sleeping beneath the stars in a Lotus Belle Tent or cosy apartment. We offer elopement, intimate, all inclusive and simple Venue hire options to couples.

Wonderful day at Badger's Holt
We had a wonderful wedding at Badger's Holt in October 2023. The team at Badger's Holt were helpful, friendly and attentive, and we could not have asked for better. From timings of the day to wine choice, we had everything just the way we wanted, and this was well reflected as all our guests commented how 'us' the wedding was! If we could get married all over again, we would do it the exact same way. It was also clear that the team love what they do, and are concerned most of all with getting you just what you want for your wedding day. Thank you to everyone at Badger's Holt for the best day!!

A dream venue!
We cannot thank Emma and her family enough for helping us to have the most perfect wedding day! From the moment we first met I could tell that Emma would go above and beyond for us to make sure we had a very special, stress free day which is exactly what happened. The venue speaks for itself, it’s so beautiful, peaceful and intimate. If we did it all again we would only ever choose Badgers Holt.

Our Wedding at Badgers Holt was incredible
From the moment we arrived at badgers holt the day before our wedding Emma and Simon welcomed in and we felt like family. The bridal room was so beautiful with a freestanding bath, the most amazing floor and best of all a lovely view of the river. Our wedding at badgers holt was incredible, the venue was beautiful, Simon and Emma were always there to support us which meant our day flowed and ran very smoothly. Emma and Simon did so much for us during our stay with Simon even lending the groom his cuff links for the big day. Emma was very helpful and helped us decide the order of the day and table lay out. The Badgers holt team could not of done more for us and really made the day special!
