Badgers Holt Weddings

Thank you all so much for what was the most incredible day! The venue, you incredible hosts and the whole weekend was nothing but perfect. Everyone we speak to or get messages from say how great the day was but also rave about the venue, the setting and the weather! I have had 3 people say they wished their son/daughter got married there and a couple more put it on the list for when their kids are ready to get married. That is testament to you all, not just for what a great venue you have.

I had my wedding at Badgers Holt in Dartmeet. The venue itself is absolutely stunning right next to the river with a rustic /woodland feel about it, which was exactly what I was after. Location wise it's in the middle of the moors so there are some great opportunities for some fantastic photos. Emma and her team were fabulous and really made the day that extra special for us, nothing was too much to ask. They were all very friendly and welcoming and helped to keep myself (bride) relaxed and calm on the big day. I can't recommend and thank Emma and her team enough for making our day as truly special as it was.

We had a wonderful wedding at Badger's Holt in October 2023. The team at Badger's Holt were helpful, friendly and attentive, and we could not have asked for better. From timings of the day to wine choice, we had everything just the way we wanted, and this was well reflected as all our guests commented how 'us' the wedding was! If we could get married all over again, we would do it the exact same way. It was also clear that the team love what they do, and are concerned most of all with getting you just what you want for your wedding day. Thank you to everyone at Badger's Holt for the best day!!

We cannot thank Emma and her family enough for helping us to have the most perfect wedding day! From the moment we first met I could tell that Emma would go above and beyond for us to make sure we had a very special, stress free day which is exactly what happened. The venue speaks for itself, it’s so beautiful, peaceful and intimate. If we did it all again we would only ever choose Badgers Holt.

Honestly couldn’t ask for any more, the whole process Emma helped us through and couldn’t have done any more for us. Would recommend to anyone.

A week ago today I married my best friend and sole mate at Badgers Holt and had the most perfect day. After searching for wedding venues I came across this venue and knew the location so started to get excited. On speaking to Emma I knew I needed to wait for restrictions to change so we could view the venue and as I thought it was perfect. Emma’s attention to detail, reassurance and help was amazing and nothing was too much from day one- we managed to book our photographer through Emma and had the florist we were hoping for all from attending the open event. Every time I spoke or heard from Emma I felt relaxed and looked after. ​ The day arrived and wow I was blown away with all the little touches and surprises and immediately felt like a queen. Emma and Bez went above and beyond with the most amazing hospitality and relaxed approach but one which was so attentive. My guests, family and friends have all shared stories of how amazing not only the day was but the venue and owners and I agree and am still in the most perfect bubble ever. The food also was amazing and everything I could ask for and we was so well looked after in so many ways you would not believe. My perfect day was made a reality and I’m so grateful and will be enjoying the venue for many more years to come. I can not recommend them enough and Emma and Bez thank you from the bottom of my heart

From the moment we arrived at badgers holt the day before our wedding Emma and Simon welcomed in and we felt like family. The bridal room was so beautiful with a freestanding bath, the most amazing floor and best of all a lovely view of the river. Our wedding at badgers holt was incredible, the venue was beautiful, Simon and Emma were always there to support us which meant our day flowed and ran very smoothly. Emma and Simon did so much for us during our stay with Simon even lending the groom his cuff links for the big day. Emma was very helpful and helped us decide the order of the day and table lay out. The Badgers holt team could not of done more for us and really made the day special!
