Tunnels Beaches

Honestly we had just the best Wedding day ever! So much of that was down to the venue and Tunnels...Jamie and Team were beyond amazing, everything ran unbelievably smoothly and the Team are so friendly. Even well before the day they were so responsive to anything we needed and from the first moment we went down there to visit the venue we felt at home. The food is amazing, the accomodation is truly amazing and just perfect for having all of your friends and family. The venue itself is just simply incredible, such a unique venue, as soon as we walked through the Tunnel and saw the sea we knew instantly this was the venue we wanted to get married at, and I can't imagine us having done it any other place in the world. So so grateful to Tunnels to making this the best day of our lives, and so excited to go back and visit in the future! Can't recommend this venue enough!

We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for hosting our Wedding at Tunnels Beaches. It really is just the most incredible venue, so much so that people who didn't attend our wedding, couldn't believe we weren't abroad. The team were fab from start to finish. You are all so amazingly chilled and experienced, it really puts your mind at rest. Any questions we did have were answered immediately. The food is next level, we thought it would be good but it exceeded expectations. The accommodation is just perfect for large groups of family and friends. Having an ensuite in each bedroom makes all the difference and the communal areas are so large, you don't feel at all like you are on top of each other. The lasagne on the Friday night before the wedding was delicious! I would recommend this venue to anyone.

We just want to say a massive thank you for everything, to yourself and all your staff. You have such an amazing venue and have thought about every little detail to make it the perfect wedding venue. The moment we walked round the corner from the Tunnel and saw the venue, we knew it was the one - we didn't need to visit anywhere else, it's truly unique. The booking process, communication leading up to our wedding day was all so stress free. It was so amazing have the luxury of staying in the three beautiful houses the night before. It gave our family and friends a chance to meet and get to know each other before the big day. The Paella went down a treat! The wedding morning everything was super stress free, nothing was too much of a problem. For a control freak like me, I could relax and know that everything was in safe hands of your wonderful staff. While the girls were getting ready in The Bath House, the boys went on a 5k run followed by a dip in the tidal pool. The food was amazing as we expected! Everyone has been raving about the Cornish pasties!! I think the best man won having eaten 5!! We will definitely be coming back next year! We love Devon so much.

Where do we start… Me and Jamie got engaged in July 2020, neither of us knew much about wedding but we were 100% sure we wanted a beach wedding. We had trolled the internet for wedding venues and we was lucky enough to have come across Tunnels Beaches, the wedding venue we fell in love with from the word go. We booked to the view Tunnels Beaches in September, two months after being engaged. The moment we stepped foot into Tunnels Beaches our breath was taken away and we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Our wedding was on Wednesday 7th September 2022, we stayed with all of our wedding guests in the on-site accommodation (The Courtyard, The Bath House and The Woodlands). This was booked Tuesday-Friday. We would recommend this to everyone. The accommodation was stunning, it was lovely and modern and super clean too. It also gave us the chance to spend time with our family and friends before and after the wedding and the fact we travelled 5 hours from home no one had to worry about getting a taxi. You could simply walk/stumble through the tunnel back to the accommodation. The wedding day itself was like a fairytale come true. There was meant to be thunder and lightning all day but there was almost no cloud in the sky! We cannot thank the staff anymore for making the day run so smoothly from the lead up, to walking down the aisle and the evening partying. So many of our guess have mentioned how lovely you all are and I can’t agree more, you have all been absolutely amazing from the lead up to the wedding until the day we left. A massive hats off to the Chefs aswell - the food was to die for and weren't shy on the portion sizes either. Although I didn’t try one of the pasties because I was way too full from dinner, so many of the guests commented on how amazing they were. You have all helped to make our wedding day so very special and for that we cannot thank you enough and will forever sing your praises. We will definitely be back in the future to celebrate our anniversaries.

Tunnels Beaches is 100% the most amazing venue in the UK. The views, food and staff are all incredible. We booked without viewing (due to not being able to travel during the pandemic) in 2020. The team were great with sending us photos, video tours and answering all our questions. And when we finally were able to visit, the venue did not disappoint! We also booked all of our suppliers from their recommended list and were super happy with all of them. On the day, everything went so smoothly, even the bits I was worried about, like setting up the tables and controlling the music. It's seamless and you don't need to worry about a thing. The food was AMAZING (we're still getting compliments now) and there was plenty of it. And obviously, the venue itself and the beautiful views are incomparable. We also booked ' The Woodlands' accommodation which is fantastic - modern, roomy and super close by! It was so nice to have all of our family under one roof. And the kitchen delivered our dinner the evening before (green Thai chicken curry - delish) which was really convenient and meant we could just relax. Massive thanks to the whole team, in the lead-up and on the day of the wedding. Everyone was super helpful and always smiling - we couldn't ask for better service! All of our guests have said that it was an amazing day, in such a beautiful part of the country. We couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend. So if you're on the fence, book it!

First and foremost can we say a massive thank you for having such a unique wedding venue. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Our accommodation was 'Runnymede House'. It was lovely to have such a stunning place to get ready in. The accommodation is decorated beautifully and we wish our house looked like this - such a fantastic style!! The staff were fantastic from the moment we booked to the day. They answered every question and believe us we had many! They were so good on the day, you didn’t need to worry at all as everything was taken care for by the lovely staff. Nothing was too much and there was almost too much food to eat! They were very generous at Tunnels and the food was AMAZING! Such lovely fresh food to everyones taste. This wedding venue totally matched our vibe and was all we had dreamed for our special day. We were lucky with the weather - not too hot but a lovely breeze and plenty of sunshine. It wouldn’t have matter as the venue is stunning enough without it. Would not have changed a thing about our day, just wish we could do it again! We had quite the dream team on the day choosing local people from our fab photographer to the what must be ‘resident’ DJ Paul - who knew the venue well and made it just as special.
