Dating back to 1066, the estate is believed to be the extensive Staffordshire woodland noted in the Doomsday Book. The Grade II listed Queen Anne residence has been home to five generations of the Williams family - and their heritage remains firmly at its heart today.
Over the past 10 years, in the hands of its current owners, the picturesque and secluded estate has been renovated and reimagined to become a highly-sought after venue for weddings, private events and corporate retreats. Offering an abundance of versatile event spaces accommodating from 50 to 650 guests, Alrewas Hayes is equally suited to large-scale celebrations through to more intimate weddings.
Bathed in natural light and with a flourish of period touches throughout, The Orangery is an events space that brings an air of elegance to every occasion. Located within the wing of the house and featuring a distinctive curved ceiling, arched windows and opening out on to The Courtyard, it's the ideal setting for wedding ceremonies.
Accommodating from 50 guests up to 180, The Lakeside is set overlooking the estate's private lake, woodlands and wheat fields. A blank canvas for the creative, The Lakeside can be transformed for any type of occasion and offers direct access to both The Courtyard and Williams Bar.
Accessed via its own private walkway, the Great Barn is the largest space within Alrewas Hayes, accommodating events from 180 to 650 guests.
Reminiscent of a cool airport hanger from the outside yet sleek and contemporary on the inside, it's a place where the unimaginable is possible. The Great Barn houses state-of-the-art production facilities including image mapping, world-class lighting and sound and staging systems.
Alrewas Hayes is available to hire on an exclusive basis seven days a week, throughout the year.
