Full Description
The Grade II listed Law Society has a selection of beautiful rooms for a stunning wedding that will leave an unforgettable impression on your guests. We can take the stress away from planning with our simple wedding packages or work with you from scratch to design your dream day.113 Chancery Lane, within easy reach of London’s West End and the City, is home to the Law Society and has been at the centre of the legal world since 1832. It took over 75 years to acquire the site for the Law Society. The imposing entrance of 113 Chancery Lane is guarded by striking golden lions sitting atop the railings. Designed by Alfred Stevens and rescued from the British Museum, these lions are identical to those which watch over the Duke of Wellington’s tomb in St Paul’s Cathedral. We have a range of spaces to host your special day. The Dressler Grand and spacious, yet warm and inviting, there is no venue so perfect for a wedding breakfast as the magnificent Dressler Room. We hosted a Persian wedding and the arrangements the couple brought in really made the rooms look more elegant and striking.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Find out about any hidden costs - we don't have any but some places don't make these clear!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

The Bridal couple were both authors and as favours they provided books to everyone. The mantle decorations also consisted of books. It looked so vibrant and unique.

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Grand, Traditional, Historic, Central and Stunning

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

The Common Room marble staircase with a fabulous red carpet!

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have had many celebrity guests walk through our doors and our venue has also features in big blockbuster movies.

Cornish crab, chilli & coriander cake, red pepper, chilli jam. A perfect combination of sweet and spicy.

There are so many but I would say our heraldic painted stained glass windows, which features in the Common Room. The windows dates back to the 17th - 19th centuries; it represents the armorial bearing of lawyers and was formerly in the Hall of Sergeant's Inn in Fleet St.
