At the heart of SAR's Cars is Lily, a beautifully restored 1971 Volkswagen T2 Campervan. Lovingly restored over six years as a family project, Lily combines timeless vintage charm with comfort, elegance and character, creating an experience couples remember long after their wedding day.
A Wedding Interior Designed Around You
From the moment couples step aboard, everything is designed with them in mind. Their favourite music can be playing as the journey begins, while Lily's bespoke 'Wedding Bliss' interior can be coordinated to complement the bouquet and wedding colours at no extra cost.
The SAR's Cars Wedding Experience
Every wedding package includes a private photo stop at a location of the couple's choice, perhaps Dorset's coastline, a favourite beauty spot or somewhere holding special memories. It's a chance for newlyweds to pause, enjoy time together and capture beautiful photographs before returning to their celebrations.
SAR's Cars is fully licensed to serve alcohol, allowing couples to enjoy a complimentary glass of Champagne and toast the beginning of married life together.
Wedding transport should never feel rushed. SAR's Cars accepts only one wedding booking per day, giving every couple full attention and plenty of time for photographs, quiet moments together and enjoying the experience.

Areas Covered
SAR's Cars provides chauffeur-driven wedding transport throughout Dorset and into parts of Hampshire and Wiltshire, regularly covering Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Dorchester, Weymouth, Sherborne, Shaftesbury, Salisbury and the New Forest.
Venues within approximately 40 miles are generally covered, although weddings further afield may also be possible.
Clear & Transparent Booking
A detailed written booking confirmation is provided before any payment is requested, setting out the agreed arrangements and providing access to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Arrangements are reviewed before the wedding and incorporated into the final itinerary.
Beautifully Prepared for Your Wedding Day
Lily is meticulously maintained, holds a current MOT, is fully insured for weddings and events and is professionally prepared before every booking. Couples are welcome to arrange a viewing before confirming their wedding.

Yes, absolutely! We always recommend arranging a private viewing so you can see Lily up close and ensure she perfectly suits your bridal party. Contact us to arrange your visit.
Where is Lily parked when not doing Wedding?
When not attending a wedding or a special event, she is securely stored in a fully enclosed, locked facility, safely protected from the elements. This ensures she remains in pristine condition and always arrives looking immaculate, ready to make a lasting impression.
Can I opt out of SAR’s Cars using my wedding photos?
At SAR’s Cars, we occasionally share photos taken by us from weddings we’ve attended to showcase our service on our website, Facebook, and Hitched profiles. These images are used solely for promotional purposes and to give future couples a glimpse of what to expect. If you would prefer that we do not use any photos from your wedding, simply let us know, we will, of course, respect your wishes and ensure your images are not shared.
