The constant high standards in service we offer, including the condition & presentation of our cars, the pre-planning times & routes for the day and also the quality of the people that chauffeur you and look after you on the day. Every wedding is as important as the last and has been since 2002.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't leave you transport to chance! Calling a car a wedding car does not make it a wedding car. There's much more to it than that. There are lots of factors - the looks, practicality (you can never have to much dress space!), quality, safety and reliability are all areas we pay lots of attention too, but unfortunately there are always people in the wedding industry who just want to make quick and easy money and there's nothing quick or easy in the wedding industry if it's done correctly. Also don't leave it too late, we book on average of 14months in advance for some of our high peak dates, even some off-peak dates fill up really quickly!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A signer who was hired to allow some deaf members of the congregation to be fully part of the ceremony and speeches
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial contact/meeting with viewing of the cars / A simple booking process with initial securing payment / Balance reminder sent out one month before / Early the week of the wedding, we rehearse all the route and timings and then a phone contact to discuss and go through the plan for the day.
What is the most original entrance you have given to a wedding couple?
With Police motorcycle escort!
What is your dream car and why?
Bentley Continental - Both beautiful and very opulent in every respect but also with the heart of a true sports cars - Delighted to say we actually now own one and can be even hired for Brides or Grooms!
What would be your No. 1 tip for arriving in style?
Make sure the car you have selected allows you to still look like you did when you departed from your home/hotel, i.e. the car has plenty of space for the dress to rest naturally without anything touching it, so no creases when walking down the aisle. There's always more dress than expected as when you sit down the material will generally push forward to fill out in front of you, especially dresses with the under netting and/or hoops! Headroom is also important so you extended hair height or tiara/veil aren't catching on the roof lining of the car. Large access doors to, so you get in and out in front of your congregation and/or video elegantly!
What is your favourite movie car chase?
From 'The Getaway', the whole film is just one car chase!
