Lady R Wedding & Chauffeur Hire is a boutique, family-run wedding car business based near Dartford, Kent, offering classic vintage wedding car hire across Kent and South East London.
At the heart of Lady R is our beautiful Regent Landaulette, a stunning classic vintage 7-seater including the chauffeur. With its distinctive character, spacious interior and beautiful presence, she offers something a little different for couples looking to arrive in style on their wedding day.
Lady R was built from a love of classic cars and weddings and has been part of our family story for many years. Today, we continue that story with the Regent, taking on a limited number of weddings so that every couple can enjoy the experience of travelling in a truly special car.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
Every wedding starts with a conversation. Once you get in touch, I’ll ask about your plans, including where you’ll be getting ready, your ceremony and reception locations, so I can understand exactly what you need and provide an accurate quote.
If you decide to go ahead, your date is secured with a deposit and I’ll keep your booking details on file. There’s no need to have every little detail decided straight away. We have plenty of time to finalise things such as timings, ribbons and any additional touches as your wedding gets closer.
Before your wedding, we’ll go through everything together so that the day is clear and organised. Then, on the day itself, you can simply relax and enjoy the experience of arriving in your beautiful Regent Landaulette.
My aim is to make the whole process simple, personal and stress-free, from your first enquiry to your wedding day.
What is the most original entrance you have given to a wedding couple?
We have given a red carpet arrival but the best entrance was of course St Paul's Cathedral - you can't beat that!
What is your dream car and why?
The red Bentley. It’s such a beautiful, prestigious car, and I’ve always wanted one in red. In fact, Terry and I got married in a red Bentley ourselves, so it has always held a special place in my heart.
What would be your No.1 tip for arriving in style?
Don’t rush it. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the journey. Your wedding car isn’t just there to get you to the ceremony, it’s part of the experience. Sit back, take it all in and enjoy that special moment before the day really begins.
What is your favourite movie car chase?
Has to be James Bond!
