One wedding a day. Guaranteed. On your date, Mabel is yours and yours alone. There's no second booking waiting, nobody watching the clock, and your hours sit wherever they suit your day. Mabel is a bright blue and white 1971 Volkswagen T2 Early Bay camper. I'm Mark, her owner and your chauffeur - official title: Head of Smiles & Steering.
We're new, and proud of it. Chrome & Confetti launches for the 2027 season, but it has been years in the making. Mabel began life in Seattle, lived with six different families, crossed the Atlantic, and was then rebuilt from the chassis up over four years in Stratford-upon-Avon, with a great deal of love, patience and, frankly, money. Her interior is finished in Lamborghini leather; the photos will tell you the rest.
Behind her sit more than 35 years of looking after people, including a long career in commercial transport, latterly as a Managing Director, alongside hospitality and entertainment. Getting people and vehicles to the right place at the right time has been my day job for a very long time. That experience is what makes your day run smoothly: you deal with me from your first message to the moment Mabel pulls up, and nothing is left to chance. The essentials are never an upsell. Chilled water, mints, tissues, umbrellas, hand fans, blankets, a little emergency kit, ribbons and photo time come as standard in every package.

A word about our pictures. As a brand-new business, we don't yet have photographs from real weddings. So that you can picture your own day, our wedding scenes are AI-created illustrations featuring Mabel - they are not past customers, and we'd never pretend otherwise. Our first real wedding photographs will replace them from summer 2027. Until then, the best way to see her is in person: viewings are free, by appointment.
Mabel is at home at barns, manor houses, country churches, Cotswold hotels, gardens and festival-style celebrations. She isn't a Rolls-Royce, and between us, she's rather pleased about that. If you'd like style without stiffness, and a wedding car your guests are still talking about at the evening party, she'd love to meet you. Based in Stratford-upon-Avon, covering Warwickshire, the Cotswolds, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and the Midlands. Weddings May to September; enquiries welcome all year, and I usually reply within 24 hours.

How many passengers can Mabel carry?
Up to six passengers plus me, depending on dresses and comfort. One passenger seat, at the front beside me, has a seat belt, so do tell me early if a little one or anyone with mobility needs is travelling and we'll plan it together.
Do you take more than one wedding a day?
No, absolutely not. Mabel has standards, you know. We only ever take one wedding a day, so your timings have breathing space and nobody is rushing off to the next booking.
What happens if the weather is terrible?
We're in England, so we plan for four seasons in one day. Mabel carries umbrellas and cosy blankets as standard, and I'll always keep you dry between door and venue.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
You enquire, and I reply personally, usually within 24 hours, with a written quotation built around your date and venues. If you'd like to go ahead, you sign the Booking Agreement online and pay a 33% deposit to secure the date. Nine weeks before, we have a planning call to settle routes and timings, then you receive your Wedding Day Overview. On the day, Mabel turns up polished, dressed and early.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Leave ten minutes of nothing straight after the ceremony. No photos, no guests, no timetable - just the two of you. It's the quietest moment you'll get all day, and it's often the one you remember most.
What is your favourite personal touch?
The one we've made standard: photos taken on your own phone, by me, on the day. The official photographs are wonderful, but the slightly wonky, laughing ones in the back of Mabel are the ones people share first.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can, especially for summer Saturdays and bank holidays. Mabel only does one wedding a day, so once a date's gone, it's gone. Send your date and venues and I'll check her diary personally, usually within 24 hours.
Can Mabel be dressed to match our wedding colours?
Absolutely - Mabel loves dressing up. Ribbons and bows come in your colours, whether that's classic ivory, soft pastels, bold brights or something a little unexpected.
Our ceremony and reception are at the same venue. Can we still have Mabel?
Yes, and it's one of our favourites. Add The Just Married Experience: a private 30-minute drive, just the two of you, straight after the ceremony - an escape, a breather and some lovely photographs.
Can we see Mabel before we book?
Of course, and there's no charge. Viewings are by appointment - a lovely way to see her colour, space and personality properly, and to ask me anything at all.
