What is your most memorable wedding?
I honestly have loved all of the weddings I have worked on, no two are ever the same! I have recently worked on a bespoke transnational wedding where the bride and groom wanted their home countries styles brought together, the result was beautiful, this was such a fun wedding to work on.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
elegant, stunning, creative, wild, watercolour
What about your business are you most proud of?
When I started this business I thought many of the weddngs would be similar but almost every one has been different. I've suprised myself with how well I've adapted to every new style and request and how much I've enjoyed it every step of the way.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan ahead and always order a few extra! Almost every wedding I have worked on has had last minute additions, particularly in the evenings.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my bride and grooms wanted me to design them a personal love letter each for the morning of the wedding. This was such a personal and beautiful thing to be asked to do, it meant a lot to me and was such a lovely idea.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The couple usually will call me and we will decide whether they'd like a semi-custom design fro my house collection or whether they'd like a custom design. Once I know what design or style they would like they will send me their text via email or WhatsApp, I will then drop this into their design and send it back to them to review. I'm not very strict on revisions, it means more to me that my couples are 100% happy with their design before they go to print. On average most couples go through around 3-5 revisions before signing off. Once the design is approved by the couple I will send it to print. I always suggest approximately 2 weeks from sign off to delivery. This can be slightly longer during busy periods though, particularly the summer months!
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
The Save the Date (or Invitation if you don't send a Save the Date!). This is the first item your guests will see and sets the scene for your whole wedding.
What is your best seller?
My best seller is absolutely my beautiful dusty blue Serrata collection!
