That it is just me. That I am working at something that makes me happy, and that it brings joy to other peoples lives too.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't rush the basics. The fancy, dazzling bits come later on. Set the right tone for your day with your save the date card. Its okay not to go down the traditional route, but don't rush the process. And keep it simple.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Individual, hand written thank you cards for each guest as their place setting. I designed the cards, and the Bride and Groom supplied the magic within.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From enquiry, through conception of ideas, to final product, I like to ensure that I am just the guardian of a couple's ideas. Everyone has an image of what they want their wedding to be like, and I am just the artist that helps make it happen.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
Your save the date is the opening of a door into what will be your big day. Save the dates should be simple and concise. Invitations however tell the story of what the wedding will be. However, that personal touch of a hand written favour is also pretty special.
What is your best seller?
Place names. There is a resurgence of simplistic design and these little hand written gems, are a perfect way of capturing that.
