What is your most memorable wedding?
My own! We married back in 2014 and are still living happily ever after.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Luxury, modern, elegant, opulent, clean
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan early! You may have 12 months plus to get organised, but that time will disappear before you know it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We were at a wedding where the couple had made French macarons as their wedding favours. This went perfectly with their Parisienne themed wedding and French style place settings.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Step 1. Consultation - by phone, email or Skype, whichever suits best. We would discuss your initial ideas, colour schemes, wedding themes and any other factors that may influence the design.
Step 2. Paper and print choices - We will also discuss what types of paper and printing would benefit your design, whether it would be best letterpress printed, or if the design may call for a high quality digital print or hot foiling. Additionally, the paper chosen will impact hugely on the look and feel of your stationery so we will give our expert advice on that too.
3. Pricing and concepts - With the information taken from the initial consultation we will look to work up a quote for the project and send this to you with our concept designs. With feedback from you we would make any amendments or changes and send through our revisions. This process is repeated until you are over the moon happy with how it looks.
4. Proof and print - Once the design has been finalised we send through a final print proof showing the stationery exactly as it will be printed, then send it off.
Usually the process takes between 4 - 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of design and other factors. The timescale for your project will be clearly communicated throughout so you will know when to expect your item(s).
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
For me the invitations have to be perfect! When that envelope is opened and your guest sees it for the first time you want them to be "wowed." The invitation is the first real expression of how your wedding will be, so it has to perfect.
What is your best seller?
Our "Wee Collection" has always done well. They are small, credit card sized invitations that can be printed in a number of different ways. I think the novelty factor of them being different from what is commonly available leads to their popularity.
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
I think by giving a couple the opportunity to add their own little touches to their stationery imbues them with romance. Little nuances to their experiences or private jokes, or designing a specific element to their exact wishes lets them create their own romance in what we do.
