Special Moments began in 2015 with a few handmade cards for friends and family and within 12 months we were providing wedding stationery for hundreds of couples!
We specialise in a luxury style of handmade stationery, incorporating glitter, ribbons, lace and some beautiful embellishments. We try to cater for every style from the very simple to very luxurious and everything in between. We have spent a lot of time sourcing and researching the very best suppliers and card stock in order to give you the best quality available on the market.
Special Moments mainly specialises in weddings but we are happy to provide items for other occasions as well, we do all of our own printing in house so if you would like one of our wedding designs for an anniversary or birthday, just ask!

What about your business are you most proud of?
Special Moments started as a few handcrafted cards just over 4 years ago and it has blossomed into a successful online business providing for hundreds of wedding every year. I couldnt have done it without my wonderful couples who are always so generous with their kind words.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
START EARLY! The worst thing for a stationer is having to turn a couple away because they have left it too late and you are either fully booked or there simply isnt enough time to make what they need. Handcrafted stationery takes planning and time, there are often multiple rounds of proofs and samples, it isnt something that can be turned around overnight. As soon as you have your date get in touch and secure a production space with a deposit then the sky is the limit!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Typically most of my orders start with a couple finding me on Etsy, Instagram, Facebook or Google and either sending me a message or going straight ahead and ordering a sample. Once they have their sample and are happy to go ahead they contact me to either place an order or put down a deposit. If we are going straight ahead with the order I will then send a form to complete requesting wording and text for their stationery. This information is used to produce electronic proofs which the couple are then asked to approve prior to printing. If an advanced booking with a deposit is made this process will take place during the month of production once the final balance has been received.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
Invitations - Without invitations or save the dates your guests wouldn't know when or where your wedding is!
What is your best seller?
Glitter Twinkles Collection - This has been my best seller for a number of years due to the versatility and affordable price. This collection incorporates glitter and satin ribbon, both available in dozens of shades making hundreds of possibilities. Prices start from £1.25 each for save the dates in this collection so its definately a favourite for those on a budget!
