What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book a designer/stylist because you love their style/work/portfolio and not because of their prices/quotation. You have to find an artist that you love the work of or you will be disappointed that the final outcome is not "You" or what you imagined.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love when couples ask me to design them a logo for their wedding, this logo appears on their stationery, some couples even get it made into a sign and the guest become familiar with it and recognise this mark throughout their wedding journey!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Everything starts with an Hello, couples usually get in touch via email or direct message on social media and then we go from there.
A quick introduction is made and if they want to take things further, I plan a zoom meeting where we can chat about their needs and expectations.
Next, I will send a customised quote based on what the client wants and if the client is happy to go ahead, a £50 non-refundable deposit is made to secure a date in my diary. 24 hours before this date, I require all copy from the client.
On the day of booking, I design and send the client proofs, the client will then have the opportunity to review and make any amendments before signing off the artwork. Once the client is happy, the remaining balance is paid and the artwork gets sent to the printers.
That's it! Then client can sit back, relax and wait for their stationery to arrive within 10 working days.
