What is your most memorable wedding?
Our own! This was actually the hardest wedding stationery I have ever made. After working on so many beautiful collections for couples over the years it was really hard to choose which one we liked best. In the end we went for a boho wildflower theme so we could use lots of colours!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Rustic, Boho / Bohemian, Whimsical, Pretty, Vintage
What about your business are you most proud of?
Building a business that brings people joy and works flexibly around our family. I will never miss a school assembly again!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't stress. Just enjoy it. It will all come together in the end. Make a list and gradually make your way through it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are too many! I think humour, fun and romance are the key ingredients to a spectacular wedding. It's the one day you can publicly declare your love, so don't be afraid to be a bit cheesy. Everyone loves cheese right?!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Ask as many questions as you like and I will answer them! I'd say our process is like having a helpful, friendly conversation and at the end of it you get pretty wedding stationery. We also include unlimited drafts with all of our invites, so nothing goes to print until you are happy with it.
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
The invites - of course!
1) This is the piece of stationery that goes in the memory box. It records the place and time of your special day and is like a mini record of yours and your family's history.
2) Who doesn't love receiving post that isn't a bill or junk mail!
3) They are like mini pieces of artwork. I have seen family members display invites on mantlepieces, book shelves, hung on walls and pinned to family notice boards. They are the piece of stationery that gets used and enjoyed the most.
What is your best seller?
Wedding invites - probably the folded or tiered versions.
What is the most innovative delivery method you have come across?
The good old Royal Mail?! Don't get me wrong, they occasionally mess up and it can be a Royal pain in the neck. But you can post a letter to the other side of the country in less than a day for under £1. That's pretty amazing and cheap when you think about it.
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
By adding the names of the happy couple. Seeing the names of the happy couple printed on paper, declaring their love for each other and inviting you to share it with them. That has to be the most romantic part. We just add some fancy wording and make it look pretty 😊
