Full Description
Here at Bomboniere, all of my collections are handcrafted using the finest materials and skills, working closely with you to create something unique for your special occasion, to encapsulate your theme, personality and venue, having made bomboniere and favours for Weddings at the Dorchester, London, Hampton Court Palace, Woburn Sculpture gallery and many more. I also have an off the shelf range ready to buy online, also designed by myself. My designs and style for my favours have been inspired by the many Italian weddings and special occasions I've been to since I was a child. I've always created with the style and flair I have as an Italian that comes I guess from my Italian heritage being an English Italian this is carried through from our daily lives to our special occasions. Giving favours or "bomboniere" as they are known in Italy, is a big part of the day and a lot of time and care is spent in choosing them. Italian bomboniere have become more and more popular as wedding favours outside of Italy due to their uniqueness, delicate craftsmanship and beautiful design, making them the perfect choice for any wedding. Italian bomboniere have evolved through the years to keep up with trends and markets as people appreciate more the practicality of a bomboniera. Choose from a wide range of items to go inside your beautifully presented box and personalise with a name tag. Browse through our collections where you will be able to place your order and personalise your item. Maria x

What is your most memorable wedding?

A Wedding at the Dorchester, London. I was asked to design matching stationary and candle favours handwrapped using beautiful satins and diamante slides to match with the elegance of the venue.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Elegant, Luxury, beautiful, high end, traditional

What about your business are you most proud of?

Being able to design and create beautiful favours and being part of someone's special day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Start early, enjoy and make it YOUR day with personal touches.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A couple originally from the Naples region have decided to have Strega liquor miniature bottles (a well known drink from that region in Italy) decorated with traditional sugared almonds inside a pouch.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

A phone consultation to get a feel of the style of your Wedding, I will then come up with some design ideas and then we either set an appointment (if living local) or by email to discuss and finalise. Once a deposit is paid I will start on your order, when complete and balance paid, your order is sent out by courier or you can collect.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

The invitations. This gives your guests the first glimpse of your style and creates an air of mystery.

What is your best seller?

Boxed candle favours and laser cut invites.

How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?

Roses, satin ribbons, antique style embellishments.
