Yes. Many commissions begin with jewellery that already means something to a couple, whether that's inherited diamonds, family gold or an unworn heirloom piece. Where possible, I can reuse these materials and transform them into wedding rings, engagement rings or entirely new designs.
Absolutely. I design and make every piece myself, so from our first conversation through to collecting the finished jewellery, you'll only ever deal with the person creating it. There are no sales staff, production workshops or middlemen involved.
Not at all. Some couples visit me in Swindon for a face to face consultation, while many others work with me remotely from elsewhere in the UK using video calls, photographs and postal ring sizing.
Simple handmade wedding rings generally start from around £600, with fitted wedding bands and more intricate designs costing more depending on the metal, gemstones and complexity involved. I'll always provide a detailed quote before any work begins.
Yes. Fitted and shaped wedding bands are one of the most common commissions I undertake. I can create a band designed specifically to sit neatly alongside your engagement ring, whether it was made by me or another jeweller.
I recommend having your rings completed at least three months before your wedding day, leaving plenty of time for any adjustments and removing one more thing from the wedding to-do list.
Once we've agreed the final design, making your jewellery typically takes between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece and whether inherited materials or gemstones are being incorporated. If you're working to a shorter timescale, please do get in touch, as I can occasionally accommodate rush commissions.
