Can you make a wedding ring to fit with an unusually shaped engagement ring?
Absolutely! - We handmake each wedding ring to the individual requirements of the customer. Many of our customers have an engagement ring that doesn't work with a straight wedding ring, so we have a lot of experience in making bespoke "fitted" wedding rings.

Are your bespoke wedding rings more expensive than off-the-shelf rings from a high-street jeweller?
Not necessarily! - The price of any ring (whether it is from us or anywhere else) is calculated based on the cost of materials and labour needed to produce it.
Precious metals, such as platinum and gold, are sold by weight, so the heavier a ring is, the more it will cost.
The prices of these metals changes constantly, and the price you pay is fixed at the point a foirm order is placed, (with 25% deposit). We purchase the metal immediately, so any subsequent quanges in the metal price won't affect the price of your ring.
If you have diamonds in your wedding ring, this will of course add cost. The price will depend on how many diamonds you go for, the size, and the quality.
The labour element depends on complexity, and the least labour-intensive style is a perfectly plain band. Any additional features will take more time, so the price will go up accordingly.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
If it's not already too late, think about your wedding ring when you buy the engagement ring. You don't need to buy the rings at the same time, but it makes sense to consider the overall look once you are wearing the two together. It might influence the style of engagement ring you choose.
Do you work in platinum?
Yes! - In fact, most of the jewellery we make is in platinum.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The process starts when you book a free design-consultation. We have no sales-staff, so when you come along to the showroom you'll deal direct with one of our goldsmiths.
We'll listen to any ideas you may have and offer suggestions, and you can try on wedding rings in stock for inspiration. If you have an engagement ring we'll discuss tailoring the design to complement it. You might need a fitted wedding ring that follows the line of your engagement ring.
It is possible to make a fitted version of any wedding ring style. Once we know all of the details we'll quote you a price for your perfect wedding ring.
If you order, it will usually be the same goldsmith you met at the consultation who will actually create the ring for you.
