Do you write personalised ceremonies?
Absolutely. Every ceremony is written from scratch and tailored to your unique love story, personalities, and preferences. No templates, no copy-and-paste scripts.
Can we include our own vows, readings, or rituals?
Yes! I encourage couples to make their ceremony as personal as possible. I can help you write your vows, choose readings, and incorporate symbolic rituals such as handfasting or unity ceremonies.
Do you perform legal wedding ceremonies?
As an independent celebrant, I conduct non-legally binding ceremonies. Most couples complete the legal paperwork separately at a register office and then enjoy a fully personalised celebrant-led ceremony with family and friends.
Do you travel outside Yorkshire?
Yes, I'm based in Yorkshire but I'm happy to travel throughout the UK. Travel costs may apply depending on location.
Can you sing during our ceremony?
Yes! As a professional vocalist, I can perform live during your ceremony. Depending on your chosen package, this can include your entrance, signing, or exit music.
How far in advance should we book?
I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding season dates. However, please get in touch even if your wedding is approaching soon, as I may still have availability.
What happens if we need to make changes to our ceremony?
That's no problem at all. Your ceremony is developed collaboratively, and changes can be made throughout the planning process to ensure everything feels just right.
Can you help if we're feeling nervous about speaking in front of guests?
Of course. Many couples feel this way. I'll provide guidance and support with vows and readings to help you feel confident and relaxed on the day.
Do you offer vow renewals and other ceremonies?
Yes. In addition to weddings, I offer vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, naming ceremonies, and other bespoke celebrations.
