Spotlight Ceremonies

HUZZAH! I’m cheering because a) you’re planning your wedding and that’s a reason to celebrate, (although possibly a little bit stressful), and b) you’ve found me! I’m an Independent Celebrant and my goal in life is simple: Seek happiness and make others happy. I passionately believe that your wedding ceremony can, and indeed should, reflect YOU as a couple. Weddings should be a joyful and fitting start to the marriage you want to have. With this aim in mind, I enjoy getting to know you via zoom, coffee meet ups and my fabulous couple questionnaire. I adore listening to couples tell their story so I can create a ceremony that is PERFECT for them. I usually send you the script before your big day so you get an excited, tingly feel (and maybe a few tears) as you read through and prepare mentally for your wedding. I love colour, cheering, happy tears and basically having a bloomin’ good time! But, it’s your wedding! I am flexible to fit your wishes and desires and can do: – traditional and formal – wild and wacky – casual and colourful or a mix of all the above! If you are looking for inspiration, I can also give you ideas about readings, writing your own vows and different symbolic moments that you may like to include (hand fasting, a unity candle, ring warming, jumping the broomstick, ring a truce bell…).
