She went the extra mile
Sam was utterly excellent with a Full Plan service. She helped us to pick the venue, the suppliers, the guests and even got our photos, videos and thank you cards sorted after the wedding whilst we were on honeymoon! She went the extra mile to make sure we got what we wanted and was always happy to help. We could truly relax on the day and just focus on each other. We strongly recommend her to anyone who’s considering a wedding planner!

Such a delight to work with
I’ve worked with Sam from South Coast Weddings many times and she is such a delight to work with. Sam is very professional, polite and hard working and always makes sure her couples have the best day! I’ve created wedding stationery for a few of Sam’s couples and always dealt with Sam directly instead of the couples, and she makes every job straight forward and easy. Empathetic, positive and hard-working.
We were unsure who to go with when it can to a Wedding planner.. I cannot imagine anyone being better than Sam! Sam organised for my wife and I to get married. The weather prevented our original plan on the day - however Sam managed to get stuck in and really made it all ok! She had a great ideas of local suppliers. Empathetic, positive and hard-working. I can't think of a safer pair of hands for your event. Highly recommend, it’s a five stars from us!

What is your most memorable wedding?

I couldn't pick just one. I LOVE every single wedding and the lovely couples, parents and friends I get to meet and spend time with. And yes, I still cry at pretty much every ceremony or during the speeches!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

There are so many things but it's so nice when friends and family have been involved with making the cake or designing the invitations etc.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

A drink at the pub or a coffee shop with a casual chat to talk about what the couple are looking to achieve for their wedding. The more I can get to know people, the easier it is to get the feel of what they'd like.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

Having Oompah Loompahs to dance with the guests after the first dance!

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

Keep everything relaxed with constant communication.

What do you love most about your job?

Make a budget before anything else. Then make a 'must-have' list and a 'would-be-nice-to-have' list. This will help you prioritise and keep on track.

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
