What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One bride had lost her mother some years before their wedding day, so we created a beautiful shrine to her and other friends or family who couldn't be there And asked guests to write them a note as well as writing in the guest book! The bride said her favourite bit of the whole process was reading what friends had written to her mother.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always like to start things off with a phone call, have a chat, see how I might be able to help, then I like to meet the couple and have a long and detailed chat about what they want, what they've done, the ideas they have and styles they have looked at. From there I dive into who they are, their likes, loves and hates. Once we've met I will get a proposal over to them detailing my services for them and my design fees etc. Once they agree to the proposal, I will draw up their contract so they can sign it.
Then the fun begins!
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A TV for the Groomsmen and friends to watch the FA Cup Final..... but it did create a fantastic atmosphere once they won!!
