We honestly cannot thank Lynsey from Red Deer Events enough for everything she did to make our wedding so special. We originally started planning for a small, simple wedding but things quickly escalated into something much bigger than we had planned! Thankfully, we found Lynsey, who immediately put us at ease and helped bring everything together. From the very beginning, she felt more like a member of the family than our wedding coordinator. She embraced all our ideas, never seemed fazed by our chaos, and kept us on track throughout the entire planning process. The day before the wedding, Lynsey spent the entire day with us and our families setting up our DIY venue. Nothing was too much trouble, and anything we had forgotten or overlooked, she had already thought of. Having her there took so much pressure off us and made the final preparations enjoyable rather than stressful. On the wedding day itself, Lynsey took things to another level. She was up early checking on Kay, making sure everything was running smoothly and that Kay could relax and enjoy her day without worrying about all the little details. Kay had a nail malfunction and within minutes Lynsey and her sister Teresa were at the door with nail glue in hand that had been pulled from their backpack full of wedding day essentials. Everything came together perfectly, and we were able to enjoy a genuinely stress-free wedding. The second either me or Kay thought of checking in on timings, suppliers etc Lynsey would appear like a magical Genie ready to reassure us and remind us to just enjoy the day! Turns out we were not her only fans that day as she was also a huge hit with our guests, with several people asking for her contact details for future events. Lynsey took our ideas for a very personal, child-friendly, DIY wedding and turned them into a day that ran more smoothly than we could ever have imagined. Her and her sister Teresa fitted in so naturally with our family and guests that it felt like having relatives there helping us, rather than Coordinators. So much so that we genuinely got emotional when it was time to say goodbye! We are so grateful for everything they did and would recommend Red Deer Events to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator who genuinely cares about making your day special. In fact, we're seriously considering getting divorced just so we can get married again and have an excuse to work with them both! Thank you so much, Lynsey and Teresa. It’s been a month since our wedding, and looking back, booking Lynsey was one of the best decisions we made. She took over all the supplier communications in the run-up, which meant we could finally stop chasing people and just enjoy the excitement. On the day, she was the calmest person in the room. Always one step ahead, always making sure we had a drink in our hands at just the right moment, and even helping us pack everything up at the end. Her attention to detail is second to none. She didn't just take the stress away, she made the whole experience exciting. A proper safety net, and so lovely and friendly with it. Thanks to Lynsey, you actually get to be a guest at your own wedding! And the loveliest thing is that, since the big day, we've been catching up with friends and family and keep hearing stories about all the little things she did that we didn't even know about. Handing out tissues before the ceremony, making sure my 88-year-old nan was looked after, checking on the pregnant guests to make sure they were well fed. All those thoughtful touches that make such a difference. If you're thinking about booking an on-the-day co-ordinator, I honestly couldn't recommend Lynsey more. You'll be in the very best hands!

Wedding planner of the year. Goes way over and beyond expectations

Lynsey put in so much time and commitment to us and our wedding, when it got to the big day it felt like we had a friend with us all day. We had some friends and family who can sometimes find weddings daunting for a number of reasons like being neuro diverse and LGBTQ+ but she was so warm and welcome and she helped us find caring and inclusive suppliers so everyone felt comfortable. She made so many thoughtful suggestions we could never have thought of, that made all the difference, the perfect wing woman, cheering us on, putting out fires and keeping up a joyful presence, but also keeping a low profile when needed. She soared above and beyond, she's an exceptional woman, we felt so privileged to have her on our big day. I've lost count of how many times I went to do something or had a thought and then saw Lynsey over there doing just that thing before I could, it meant we could relax and enjoy the day, I don't think it would have been anything like it was without her there for us. From messaging and fielding calls from suppliers, site visits, helpful nudges in the right direction, taking pics of special moments without being seen, cracking jokes to ease tension and running around with a big smile on her face, she's so intuitive, and definitely someone you can rely on! Her background in hospitality as well as public service shines through in the quality and professionalism of her services.

Lynsey was awesome. She took control of the day, made us all feel held and relaxed and created an absolutely gorgeous wedding. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone wanting a wedding they’ll never forget.

Where to start with Lynsey… weeks / months before the wedding she was helping with preparation, chase external companies, sorting small and large jobs. Lynsey offered to attend meetings with different companies helping out on the day as well as attending meetings with the venue. She ensured we did as little as possible but were as comfortable as possible before the big day. On the big day she jumped between the bridal party, the venue and the grooms party to make sure everything was in order and everyone had everything. On the day, she did everything, as the groom I didn’t have the think about anything, she printed speeches and vows in preparation. If you wanted something she had it from repair kits to tablets. She even spent 40 mins at the end of the night trying to find a handkerchief that was my grandads as it was lost but she found it. She constantly checked in with myself and the bride throughout the day and did everything she could to make it the perfect day in which she did. Lynsey made our day perfect and brought the whole day together. She helped bring my our dream wedding to life. I could not recommend her enough!
