What is your most memorable wedding?
All my weddings have been special because they are very different each time... I try to reflect the individuality of the couple. However the Hawthbush farm wedding last year was a magical setting and despite the wet weather it was great fun - as Rosie and Jon were wonderful to work with and took it all in their stride - great fun!

Be true to what you both feel is right for you - it is your day and you want to enjoy it... don't feel obliged to go with what you think people expect, go with what suits your personalities and budget!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I loved Liz and Dino's personalised bottles of malt whisky handed out as favours, rather lovely. Also any live music, be it a guitarist or a jazz trio, for people to gather around and get in to the spirit it always creates a great atmostphere
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initial chat on phone / skype to see if we can work together and then arrange a meeting preferably at the venue. Spend a couple of hours hearing their story and getting to know them and what ideas they have... bouncing ideas between us. Going away and researching any ideas then writing a bespoke ceremony and send to them for approval. Making any changes if need be and signing off final draft. Rehearsing the vows during the week of the wedding if poss at the venue. Alternatively over SKYPE. On the day I am there a good hour before to prep... liaise with other professionals etc... I am there to fit in with the day , so if there's a delay I am flexible, I only do ONE wedding a day! No running off to another ceremony like a registrar. I can also work with a registrar if they are happy to do this... not all registrars are.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
I have been asked to plan a wedding in a theatre, a bandstand, a woodland setting and a baby naming in a garage! Im very adaptable.
